We genuinely care about your dog. We also understand that this is a trying time for you. All we want to do is be a part of your pet's care management team and we work really hard to fit your dog correctly. This means that it may take the full 3 exchanges (measuring is hard). We also know that all dogs will not fit the vest or sleeves "perfectly," this does not mean the sleeves won't anchor correctly. They will, the system will still work. Is it supermodel dog perfect, maybe not. Is it functionally going to keep your dog moving... yes!
Animals are individuals. We treat each case as a unique case. Sometimes in the fitting process we need to add extenders for a big chest or we need to fold the vest, using the shorteners to leave ample room for the neck. The vest may look gathered or the arm hole looks too big. These are irrelevant in extending the life of your dog. The movement of the sleeves to aid in walking is the most important part. Keep this in mind.

Our golden retriever had an Fibrocardilagenous embolism in her spine when she was four. Her left leg came back within a week but the right leg was slower. They said she would be able to do whatever she likes to do and they were right for seven years. She always walked with a hop along gait but it didn’t slow her down. She is eleven now and her right leg was getting weaker and the left hip was showing wear from years of compensating for the right. She doesn’t like new things so we held our breath as we put in on before a walk. She didn’t want to walk; she wanted to run! I was in tears seeing how happy she was to be able to run again.
