I love Summer Lake Park on a sunny day like today! It's a great place to bring a dog. There is an enclosed off leash dog park with a wash off station/ doggy drink station. Most of the trails are paved with a few off road opportunities. Ample parking. Brick and mortar bathrooms that are open year round. Trash cans and p**p bag dispensers at several locations. Gorgeous views of the lake. Address: 11450 SW Winter Lake Dr., Tigard 97223.

This is Bonnie. She is available for adoption at Oregon Dog Rescue right now! I had the pleasure of taking her on a Field Trip for a few hours yesterday. She is an excellent adventure companion. And just look at that face! 🥰 She already knows the basics of training and she's got the perfect combo for all the training - she has a lot of energy and she's both food and praise motivated. She was great in the car too. Honestly, it was hard to give her back. If you are looking for a good girl to take on all your adventures, go to the ODR website and check out Bonnie.

Penny and Ava 🧡🧡 I can't believe that I couldn't tell these beautiful ginger sisters apart at first. Now their personalities shine through. Penny, reserved and dignified, is on the left with her darker stripes, even on her face. Ava, bold and affectionate, is on the right with her white cheeks and the ever curious look on her face.

Such an amazing week for a trail walk!! Fresh green foliage explodes everywhere and there are wildflowers lining the trails. Birds are singing. Ducks and geese have their babies. Get out there and enjoy it!

This is Luka. This is trust. Luka is extremely shy and anxious. The first few times I entered her home, she cowered, retreated and barked non stop. It was heartbreaking. Her mom and I believed in her and just kept trying. Eventually, she understood that I meant her no harm. In fact, I bring good things like love. patience and yummy treats. I'm so proud of her progress. Good girl, Luka!
