Happy Friday from Oliver and me 😅

Me: “Okay Oliver, let’s grab a quick cute picture after your massage.”

But for real… one of my favorite parts of this job is helping dogs feel more comfortable in their bodies—whether they’re seniors, sport dogs, recovering from injury, or just feeling the wear and tear of everyday life. Massage can support comfort, mobility, recovery, and overall wellness (with bonus treats and awkward photos included 😂)..

🤍 Castor 🤍

Some dogs leave paw prints on your heart in ways that are impossible to explain, and Castor was one of those dogs for me.

For the last 6 years, I had the privilege of seeing this sweet doodle regularly for massage, and I truly looked forward to every session. Through two TPLO recoveries, the loss of his brother, family life changes, and other health challenges, Castor showed up with quiet resilience and a heart of gold.

He was a true massage pro — one of those dogs who genuinely loved his sessions and settled into them in a way that always made me smile. He taught me so much over the years, and being part of his care was a gift I’ll always treasure.

His sudden loss shook me, but my heart aches most for his family as they learn to navigate life without him. After already saying a tragic and sudden goodbye to Pollux last year, I know this loss feels especially profound. Sending so much love to all of them as they move through life now without both of their sweet Gemini boys.

I’d like to think Castor and Pollux are together again now — running side by side, whole and happy. ❤️

🌈 Beto 🌈

Even knowing this goodbye was coming didn’t make it any easier. Sweet Beto, I’m going to miss you so much.

Rescued from Cabo and known to many as Beto el Perrito, you may have been little, but you had the biggest spirit and more determination than most dogs twice your size.

Despite orthopedic challenges, IVDD, and later oral melanoma, Beto never stopped living life fully. Even through it all, he somehow still had his mama walking an average of 8 miles a day (seriously… no joke 😂). His endurance, determination, and zest for life were something truly special to witness.

But what I’ll remember most was the bond between Beto and his mama. The love, devotion, and partnership between them was beautiful, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have had a front-row seat to even a small part of it.

Beto always made me smile, and I’ll deeply miss my time with both of them. Sending so much love to his sweet mama as she learns to navigate life without her little shadow. Run free, handsome boy. ❤️

"I've been taking my 8.5 year old border collie for a massage. He has some sore areas on his back and Whitney took the time and patience with him to gain his trust to let her work on that area. My 8 month old Malinois is starting massage this month. Just like us dogs have areas of their bodies that get sore. A massage with Whitney will definitely help your furry friend." -NG

Reviews like this mean everything to me 💛

Building trust, especially in sensitive areas, takes time—and I’m so grateful for clients who allow me to move at their dog’s pace and truly listen to what their body needs.
Thank you for trusting me with your pups 🐾

Meet Meeko 💛

This sweet 5-year-old Frenchie recently started massage as part of his maintenance plan after an IVDD diagnosis and a few flare-ups. Thankfully, he’s currently doing really well—and our goal is to help keep him that way.

With dogs like Meeko, sessions focus on supporting the muscles around the spine, reducing tension, and encouraging comfortable, balanced movement. Everything is done thoughtfully and at his pace, especially around areas that may be more sensitive.

Preventative and maintenance care can make such a difference for dogs with a history of IVDD—and I’m so happy to be part of Meeko’s support team

Now that it’s official, we’d love to introduce Chili 🌶️
The newest member of the Revive family ❤️

His story is fairly unknown, but what we do know is that he was left behind by a farmhand on a property in McMinnville. He’s estimated to be around 7 months old, meaning he was likely born around the same time we lost Cicely. Somehow, it feels a little like the universe knew we’d need him.

Equal parts chaos, curiosity, and charm, Chili has already made himself right at home. We’re pretty sure there’s some cattle dog mixed into this little guy, which means he’s smart, busy, opinionated, and determined to investigate absolutely everything. DNA test is pending!!!

Emily is loving having a companion, our kitties are all adjusting surprisingly well, and we’re still getting to know this sweet boy one day at a time. He’s only been here 10 days, but we are already completely in love with him!

💔 Remembering Nox 💔

Nox, a beautiful 13-year-old Labrador, recently earned her wings after a life so clearly filled with love, adventure, and devotion from her family. I had the privilege of working with Nox for a little over two years after she experienced a difficult bout of vestibular disease, and from the very beginning she left an impression on me.

Nox always kept me on my toes and could absolutely be respectfully stubborn at times — but that was part of her charm. Even on the days she was feeling sore or extra opinionated about our sessions, she remained patient and trusting with me while I worked through areas that were more sensitive. She was such a special girl to spend time with.

Some of my favorite parts of our appointments were the conversations shared with her mama. I loved hearing stories about Nox throughout the years — especially about her love for fetch and her adventures at the river, where she was happiest chasing a ball and soaking up every moment outdoors.

When I reflect on Nox, I think of a dog who truly lived a wonderful life. She was deeply loved every step of the way, and that love was impossible to miss when you met her family. Sending extra love to her people during this difficult time, along with her kitty siblings who I know are missing her dearly too.

Run free, sweet Nox. 🐾🌈
