Extreme Weather Warning!

Severe Cold weather is here & it’s going to get colder, please make sure your pets are not outside longer than absolutely necessary for a quick romp or potty break.

If you see an animal in distress or without proper shelter, food or water, call Animal Control immediately.

This is a great opportunity to stuff those Kong,toppls or bones and get them in bags to set outside. We will all have extra freezer space in the next few days. ❄️ ⛄️ 🧊

When choosing a puppy from a litter, the Volhard Puppy Aptitude test can be very helpful in choosing the right puppy for your environment and/or goals. This is typically done at 7 weeks. I re-visit Darby’s Volhard video his breeder did and still see the same traits.

Miles continues to do very well. He has started playing with Darby, not frequently but has responded well to Darby initiating play. He is one fast Aussie! Darby cannot keep up with him. He met a 5 year old and an unfamiliar man and, well you can see 😉.

The best news is that: HE HAS BEEN ADOPTED!

I’ve struggled ALOT with this but have finally made the decision to keep him. He really is an easy dog and fits in so well here. His one issue is reactivity with unfamiliar dogs which I’m confidant can be resolved Next step is introducing to Darby’s BFF Rigby. We started that yesterday. Video to follow.
