PLEASE READ. We cannot be helping just kittens. We cannot be rescuing just kittens. We cannot be fixing just kittens. Requests to get 4-8 week old kittens without mom fixed are out of control.

Every kitten has a mom. Whether you saw her or not, whether she’s friendly or not. She still needs help. Of course, no one is expecting you to rescue a feral mom and take her home. But friendly or not, she needs to be spayed. If mom is feral and in Jefferson County, there are fantastic options to get her spayed for free. It just requires effort and someone to care enough to do it.

There is a much bigger picture than just the kittens. Getting a kitten off the streets is an incomplete task. It leaves a mom behind to create more kittens in the very near future. You are not telling on your friend, coworker, or barn owner by referring them or providing info. You are helping them.

Pictured is a situation we are trying to assist, but only if we can get information about where the mom cat hangs out, goes for her meals, etc. Someone knows. Someone just needs to care enough to pay attention. You can be the person that cares enough to pay attention.

I don't know what to say about this.... Parents, eventually someone like me will parent for you if you're unable to 🤷
That's about all I could come up with while trying to digest how wicked and soulless our youths are becoming.

Kids are using WhatsApp to brag about torturing animals—and Meta isn’t stopping it. What kind of future are we building if we let this continue?

Dang this is so sad. People are still breeding cats intentionally???? I couldn't imagine what must be going on in someone's mind to think that getting involved with purebred cats is a good choice in this world. Seriously how are we still doing these goofy things?? Oh but it's a pedigree 😵‍💫 OH yes, pay no mind to the 4 starving out under your shed...by all means breed more purebred cats for the world. 🤷

Announcing delivery of a new Forest Bell litter “H2” of 13 kittens! Yes, 13! All are healthy and doing great! Obviously, mama needs help to keep up with the feedings. So I’d them separate in two groups and rotate between mama and bottle feedings every 2 hours, day and night, and as the result of that - sleepless nights for me!

There are 6 boys and 7 girls and most of them are red tabbies. Ohh it’s gonna be fun raising them and watching them become a beautiful Maine C***s!

IT'S OFFICIAL: Declawing cats is BANNED in Rhode Island! 🎉🐾

The law will take effect on September 1, and make Rhode Island the 5th state in the nation to ban this cruel procedure. It joins New York, Maryland, Virginia, and Massachusetts in outlawing declaw surgery statewide.

A massive thank you to all who took action with us and championed Rhode Island's declaw ban. Let's keep the momentum going and ban declawing in EVERY state!
