When it rains it pours- Quarantine was one of my absolute favorite rabbits. Much like Blue she was set to live out her days as a beloved pet retired from her show career. It was a conscious decision to let her go as her quality of life was going and it was not fair to let her suffer. I’ll miss her antics dearly - she loved to dance on her back feet and scare me when she took naps. I knew she was something special when she was just a little tater tot, she had a few big wins and really motivated me to continue with the color specialization for her breed.

Lemon gave me the best Mother’s Day gift! 💝 Extremely excited for this litter to grow and develop!

And just like that a big chapter comes to a close… at one point our herd was just under 50 and now we are at 7 total rabbits!

We are thankful for the friends we made along the way and the adventures we had!

Maybe not goodbye for forever but definitely a goodbye for now.

She’s back home and all settled in! Firecracker Rabbitry did a fantastic job caring for her!

Lemon placed second place in her age division! I am extremely proud of this doe and cannot wait to get her bred for Nationals!

Swipe right to see the transformation from a herd of 46 to a max of 22! I currently only house rabbits in 14 of the 22 spaces I have as well! Chores definitely go faster right now in the bunny barn. I’m hoping for a big baby boom this winter to help restock some of the cages come spring!

Lemon is the only doe of her litter and being held back along with one of her brothers. I’m definitely impressed with how this litter is developing this far!

He’s back!!! Galewind’s Secret Admirer (ADM) has made a full recovery from Mother Nature and feed issues over winter.

If you’ve been following along a little bit at the shows - this is the buck who I nearly lost and moved into the house over winter. He’s also the buck that I said if I couldn’t save I’d have sold out completely of Polish.

But he’s back and as gorgeous as ever- just needs a tiny bit more conditioning and a molt out before he’s ready for any show tables.
