🚌14 PUPS HAVE A TICKET TO FREEDOM! BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP TO GET THEM THERE! 🚌

We have incredible news: the Humane Society of Carroll County in Maryland has officially accepted 14 of our beautiful pups! Their second chance at life is waiting for them, but we cannot get them across the finish line without our community.

Transport day is set for June 22nd, and we have two critical needs right now: FUNDS and FOSTERS!

💰 The Financial Goal: $3,000
To legally and safely move these 14 dogs out of Texas and into Maryland, we must raise $3,000. Every single dollar goes directly to their care and travel:
$2,000 (Transportation Costs): Covers fuel, vehicle maintenance, and miles to get them safely to Maryland.
$1,000 (Medical & Legal Prep): Covers required interstate health certificates, extra vaccines, dewormer, and flea/tick prevention.

📍While foster dogs are safe while out of the shelter, if returned they unfortunately go on our urgent list due to the length of time.

Even after 11 adoptions yesterday, we somehow ended up with even more animals!

We are now at a total of 145 animals as of this morning. Our maximum capacity is 96 dogs and 40 cats. Right now, we are caring for 104 dogs and 42 cats, keeping us over capacity!

Our kennels are FULL, and animals continue to arrive every day. Just as we were preparing this post, 9 new animals have already entered the shelter, and the day isn't even over yet!

We urgently need adopters, fosters, and rescue partners to step up. Every animal that leaves our shelter for a home, foster placement, or rescue transfer creates room for another pet in need and gives us the ability to continue helping our community's animals. If you've been considering adopting, fostering, now is the time! Even sharing this post can help us reach someone who may be able to make a difference.

☀️ Fozzy spent Saturday living his best life! 🎉

Our handsome boy got to enjoy a Doggie Day Out, and let’s just say he was a total superstar from start to finish!

Fozzy -141763 kicked off his adventure with a little retail therapy at PetSmart, treated himself to a delicious pup cup from Starbucks, and then stopped by Madison’s where he made plenty of new friends along the way!

Everywhere he went, Fozzy charmed everyone he met. He was wonderful with adults, loved soaking up attention from the kids who stopped to give him pets, and was the perfect passenger during car rides. He’s also a leash pro and was happy to stroll around town!

If you’re looking for a friendly, attention-loving, treat-motivated best friend who’s always ready for an adventure, Fozzy is your guy! ❤️
Fozzy’s adoption fee is just $70 and includes his neuter, microchip, vaccines, flea prevention, and dewormer. He needs to find placement with an adopter/foster by 4PM on 6/11.
