I just want to let my customers and other others know that MCR Whips will be closed from February 24 until probably the end of May. I will be having some surgery on my hand that will require me to take three months off. I have a pretty full schedule up until that point but I can probably make a limited number of whips before that time and I may have one in my inventory that would suit your needs. Also, my dealers have some of my whips- Iowa Valley Carriage, Pleasure Thyme Carriages, Yonies Harness has a limited number, Chrysalis Acres in Maine, and Taylor Bradish in Windsor South Carolina who has special signature marathon whips There may be one or two others I have forgotten. I noticed some discussion on beginning carriage driving group that bring up a few questions I’d like to address. Some contributors did point out that I work very closely with people to get exactly the whip they want. I have so many options available to customize these whips - in addition to stick length and lash length I can customize the stiffness of the whip, the balance of the whip, and the size of the grip. All of these options mean that you will have a whip that is completely customized to your needs.
