Pet parents, just to let everyone know I have been made aware of a case in Beaufort (none of my babies) of the new k-9 virus that is now in the US. I just wanted to share the precautions we are taking to keep my pups and yours safe.
1. We are cleaning and sanitizing all bowls and toys after each use.
2. We are washing all beds and blankets the pups may use.
3. I am limiting numbers to 4 boarders or daycares plus my personal pups.
The virus is presenting as respiring distress, coughing, sneezing, and runny eyes.
Please make sure your fur babies are current on all vaccines and boosters before their stay. Please make me aware of any concerns you may have as well as any extra precautions you may be taking for your pup. If your pup is not feeling well or showing any signs of the virus, please let me know and we can figure out together the best course of action to take. Our babies safety is my top priority.
