Doing an experiment! I want to keep a skull from one of my ducks. So with a little instruction from a friend, I’m trying the slow rot method. I’ll have to change the water every week until all the flesh is gone. Their skulls are fragile so hopefully this is the best method to preserve it!

The hubby started firewood splitting and stacking! Letting it get good a dry for next winter!

4 ducks and a rooster processed. It was a bitter sweet day. I love my ducks but 5 boys against 2 girls was a little too much for the girls. And the rooster was just menace
