What a fantastic competition season this is shaping up to be! We are thrilled with the results from the past three weekends. Our continues to shine!

This past weekend was a busy one! Out at The Maryland Horse Trials, Joe was able to secure a top ten finish on each one of his rides- Beall Spring Bvlgari (for sale!) in Open Novice-A, Waterline (for sale!) in Open Novice-B, and Sophia Tharseo owned by Julia McHugh in Open Novice-C!! It was also a special weekend because we got to see TFSH graduate, Fernhill Melody, performing brilliantly with his rider Savannah Kilpatrick. And let’s not forget the wonderful TFSH alum, Olympus, who took his rider Gillian Kingsburg around the Novice course at Midsouth Pony Club Horse Trials. It is so wonderful to watch these pairs continue to grow!

The weekend before, Martin competed at The Maryland International on Theresa Foote and Madison Solosi’s Harthill Diamond, and Martin also made an appearance on Nancy Quaranto’s The Little Prince at Show Day National in Virginia with Jeri who competed sales horse Le Goff!

The Frame Sport Horses also hit two (that’s right, two) Young Horse Show Series shows. The first was hosted by High Point Hanoverians and our young stars shown bright! Lucky Lad PVT and Prince Rubin PVT both owned by TFSH claimed top honors in the 3-year-old Jump Chute. Then we were back at the All For It Farm for round two the next day, again with many top finishes!

We are so grateful for the Young Horse Show Series. It is such an exceptional platform to nurture and develop these young horses, and we feel very lucky to have access to these shows so close to home!

Savanna entered the world caught by Dr. Steve Pollak from a standing Sahara. Sahara was 5'9 at the shoulder. Her father was the famous SWB stallion Bellini. Savanna began her illustrious career winning the 3-4 Year Old Materiale Class at Dressage at Devon with Klaus Schengber.

Shelley Reichart of Paradigm Farms LLC, Wisconsin won the 2010 USEF Five Year Old Class at the prestigious Palm Beach Derby under the guidance of Linda Zang. Savanna and Shelly ended their season as Reserve Champion at the USEF National Young Horse Selection Trials in Chicago.

Under Inga Janke's expert guidance Savanna won the Born in the USA Award. She was the High Score American Bred in the Performance Division of Dressage at Devon 2013, and first place USDF All Breeds Award SWANA, 4th Level Open Division.

Savanna came to live a wonderful and happy life belonging to Ann-Louise Cook in Wellington, Florida. Ann's love of Savanna was unconditional. Savanna returned home to Beall Spring Farm for her retirement, with Ann and Fran Clemens visiting her and bringing her boxes of apples.

Savanna passed away peacefully on November 21, 2024. I don't think there could be a horse so loved by her owners or her family.

Rest in Peace Savanna.

WOW is all we can say about receiving this award! With the help of BSF Frame Charleston, Beall Spring Farm LLC is ranked 3rd in the WORLD for the World Breeders Federation for Sport Horses.

BSF Frame Charleston is out of our beloved mare Beall Spring Savanna and by one of our favorite stallions Shakespeare RSF. Charleston is the Grandson of Sahara, mother of Beall Spring Shamrock, Beall Spring Savanna, and Beall Spring Seattle among other wonderful offspring. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our success as a farm, especially Martin Douzant, who has piloted all these young horses!

Thank you to Diane Tauber who now owns Charleston along with The Frame Sport Horses and Beall Spring Farm and to Ann-Louise Cook who owns Savanna. Best wishes to all for 2023! Very proud to be Swedish!!!

With the 2022 show season complete, Steve and I wanted to give a special congratulations to BSF Frame Charleston and his wonderful rider and part owner Martin Douzant. Charleston's list of accomplishments include:
* Champion 5-year-old Dressage Horse at the Young Horse Show Series (YHS) Finale
* Reserve Champion 5-year-old Jumping Horse at Young Horse Show Series Finale
* USEA Wins at Waredaca Farm, Loudoun Hunt Pony Club, Hunt Club Farms and The Maryland Horse Trials
* Along with four additional Top 10 results

Our list of thank you's is long as there are so many people involved with Charleston's success, but we must highlight a few:
* Martin Douzant for his superb riding skills and his expert guidance in bringing another of our homebreds from unbroken to competition star
* Diane Tauber for joining our ownership partnership mid-year. Martin and I are so happy to have you aboard.
* The entire The Frame Sport team, especially Joe DeSantis, for taking such impeccable care of Charleston throughout the year.
* To Anne-Louise Cook, owner of Beall Spring Savanna, without whom the Spare wouldn't have happened!! We are so happy to have Savanna home at Beall Spring Farm for her retirement.

Take a pause to remember Kay Meredith who found Savanna's mother Sahara for us in Sweden. Rest in peace.

Leonard Proctor, a special friend to my family for many years. A great horseman who rode like a cat on the hunt field.

Wishing everyone a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!

As the competition season is winding down, we wanted to take a moment to congratulate two of our Beall Spring Farm homebreds on their incredible results at year-end championships.

Diane Tauber's Olympus (Ferro x Kallisto) has been on fire this year with his longtime trainer Martin Douzant in the saddle. Olympus was named the Reserve Champion Preliminary Horse at the American Eventing Championships held at the at the beginning of September. He followed that up with a big WIN in the .area2 Preliminary Championships held at in October.

We also want to give a shoutout to Beall Spring Seahawk (Shakespeare RSF x Sahara), also ridden by Martin Douzant and owned by Martin and Silvio Pappalardo . Seahawk was named Reserve Champion in the Open Modified Championships at the American Eventing Championships. Following this achievement he was sold to a student at East West Training, where he will join his big brother Frame Shamrock, another BSF homebred, who is owned by another rider at the same barn.

We so love following our horses after they leave us, and are so thankful to their owners and trainers for loving them as much as we do!

"It's official, Seattle is a gem!" ... It's like 🎼music🎼 to our ears when new owners send us a text like that a day after their new horse arrives!⠀

Big CONGRATS to Deborah and Roxanne Rice of West Grove, PA on the recent purchase of Beall Spring Seattle! We can't wait to see what you all accomplish with this lovely horse. And as always, special thanks to Thora Pollak and Beall Spring Farm for breeding another wonderful horse!

We're so thrilled to share that Frame Shamrock, a Beall Spring Farm homebred, WON the CCI2*-S three-day event at this past weekend! By Shakespeare RSF out of our own Sahara, Martin Douzant has brought this horse up the levels and it's so wonderful to see him win at the international level.

Not to be outdone by his stablemate and fellow Beall Spring homebred, Olympus moved up to Preliminary and placed 2nd with Martin in the irons. Our good friend Diane Tauber bought this black beauty as a baby and we know she loves seeing him out there succeeding.

And finally, Beall Spring Seahawk would have won his Open Training division, but his pilot accidentally skipped a jump near the end of the course. But Seahawk doesn't know he didn't win!

Huge thanks to Martin and his team at for believing in our breeding program and bringing these horses along so well.
