The air quality isn’t cooperating with time at Barkwood or long walks in the park, so we hope our furry friends are taking a little break from outdoor adventures and saving the zoomies for when the air clears. In the meantime, here are a few ideas to help keep your pup entertained indoors!

Top 3 Things to Teach Your Dog While Staying Indoors:

Part pup, part card shark. Four of a kind? We see you.

🐕 Advanced “Couch Potato” Training
Reward them for mastering the art of staying still. Extra points for premium loafing.

⚾ Indoor Fetch (The Quiet Kind)
Because we all know the loud, wild version usually ends with something broken.

Really though, please limit outdoor activity with your pets until air quality improves. Stay safe, stay silly, and give your pup a treat for being such a good sport.

We love seeing tails wagging, dogs playing, and our community enjoying the park together. To help keep Barkwood clean, safe, and enjoyable for everyone, we kindly ask all members to remember to pick up after their pups during every visit.

We know accidents happen. After all, every dog has its day. But leaving behind “surprises” can quickly turn a great day at the park into a real “crappy” situation for fellow members.

Keeping Barkwood clean is a team effort and helps ensure the park stays a pawsitive place for everyone to enjoy. Thank you for doing your part and helping us keep Barkwood looking doggone great!

Attention, Barkwood members: our key fob gate system is currently experiencing technical difficulties, temporarily preventing access to the dog park.

City staff is actively working with the vendor to restore functionality as quickly as possible. At this time, our top suspects in this cruel act against our Barkwood pups remain squirrels…though cats have not been ruled out. 😉

We're on the case and appreciate your patience while we "fetch" a solution. Paws crossed for a quick fix!

Looks like word traveled fast around Barkwood that snacks were on patrol! 😀

K-9 unit? Not quite. Snack unit? Absolutely. 🐶

Officer Ryan from Beachwood Police made some new four-legged friends at Barkwood Dog Park. Safe to say she had a very attentive audience once the treats came out.
