Misty found her own home today.

She was adopted before, then returned after 8 months or so because she was too loving and needy.

Her new family fell in love with her because of those qualities.

She will have a canine and a feline brother.

Orangetheory Fitness, where one of our rescue fosters attends, has set up a donation box for Devoted to Pets Rescue.

They have already been so generous in their giving. See the pictures below.

These donations will help quite a few of our foster cats and dogs.

At the moment we have over 30 kittens, over 20 cats, and 2 dogs in the rescue.

Our fosters pay for their own food and litter unless we get donations.

Thanks to Congetta, the fitness manager, for assisting in this endeavor.

Our rescue is most appreciative.

Sweet Smudge, aka Beth, finally went to her new momma today after being on Hold for several weeks. Her momma could hardly wait. She has been checking on her since Day 1.

Lo and behold! Instead of rain this morning, it was raining kittens or rather 1 kitten.

Very thin, but overall appears healthy. Not seeing fleas.

He ate the can food, then started on the dry.
Had to take the food out for awhile, so he doesn't make himself sick eating too much.

On the other hand, might have to put it back. He was quiet while eating.

Now he's hollering at me.

People need to wake up and become responsible. Hardly likely this kitten got up the driveway on to the tire by itself!

Believe it had some help.

This will be another of the lucky ones.

Too many aren't lucky!!

Beevo has settled in extremely fast, since he was just adopted yesterday.

How adorable is he?

Karma, who was adopted with him, is taking her time, but is very loving to the "humans".

This is why the rescue trys so hard to find homes for these loving babies! It's just so worth it.

It started out today, despite the horrible weather, that Beevo had a meet and greet.

After meeting this little rascal up close and personal, they decided that they did want to adopt him.

As it turned out, they also wanted to meet Karma. They had heard her story of recently having surgery to remove a very large polyph from behind her nasal cavity. This polyp had been interfering with her breathing for some time. The polyp was benign and made a world of difference to her withbit removed. She has been gaining weight and regaining her energy since the surgery.

After meeting her, guess what?

They adopted her as well.

Now both Beevo and Karma will have a wonderful home with a very loving family.

Molly and Kale are bonded siblings who are only 10 months old.

Molly has been unsure about this whole cattery business while Kale has been a lovebug.

Now, they will both have their own home and be able to settle down and be lovebugs together.

Not sure what's wrong with people.

These 12 cats/kittens were dropped off at Petsmart's door on Sunday, 5/18 between 7 - 8 am. As you can see they are inside a 48" wire kennel lined with plywood and the doors are tie wrapped.

Petsmart brought them inside and got help.

Luckily we had a foster willing to take them.

They weren't in too bad a shape surprisingly. All eye issues have been resolved thank goodness.

They are recovering and love to eat. They are eating their foster out of house and home.

There are 3 litters actually here. There were 2 newborn. We are calling 1 mother the "Grandma". The other 2 mom's are probably her babies who, at least 1 has babies in this group. All 3 care for the babies. It's a community effort.

What can I say, but people should be responsible. Get your pets fixed!!! Not all cats or dogs are lucky like these.

Donations are definitely needed.
