We raise border collie and border x aussie crosses. W***y, our stud dog, is a pure bred border collie. We have kept back a son of W***y,(JR) which we are getting some amazing pups out of. He is owned by Philip Cloyd along with JoJo, a daughter of Josey. They have produced some really nice pups, working dogs and pets. We purchased Copie , currently our main stud dog, a couple of years ago. We are s

o glad we did. His pups are super. Our female, Socks, border x aussie(our best female), Sandy, red/white border x aussie, is a proven producer, Josey, pure bred border, short hair, prickly ears a very exciting addition to our family. Sis-cee, a daughter of W***y x Josey, is Roger's favorite. Would liked to have had her to use on cattle when we were ranching. Bobby Socks, a Copie x Socks, is the first female we have gotten to keep out of Socks. We are very impressed with her. Now we know why everyone loves this cross. We also kept back a red/white male pup out of Copie x Sandy, the most trainable pup we've had. Look forward to using him in the future. Sassy, Jr. x Sandy, just raised her first liter Nov. 2020. Her pups are doing great and she is our best bred female. Contact us for your puppy needs. We do take advance orders and occasionally have young started pups for sale. When they came to purchase Ace from us, it was pre-determined that he was going to be a 4-h show dog/ranch dog and it seems to work out great for them. ❤️🍀❤️I really don’t know what to say about today’s dog show but let’s start off by saying that the Dog Gone Fun dog program rivals any program, anywhere. I didn’t count the practices this year but I would say that there was probably 25 practices since January. If you want to learn how to train a dog and are willing to put in the work, the opportunity is available to all. Our show is big enough (around 25 dogs) to require 2 judges. We heard them take the mic and say things like, “I have never seen a show where kids have the dogs so we’ll trained for “stand for examination.”” “This show has done the best job at training kids to finish their dogs that I’ve ever seen.” (A dog training term). 😍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
For our family there is no dog show “off season”. Our dogs are used on the ranch daily so the sit, down, stay, etc are just common conversations we have with the dogs. To the kids who had challenging moments today, we see you, we feel you. Showing any animal will humble the best handlers whether it be dogs, cattle, horse events, Whatever. We always tell the girls that these animals were not put on this earth to win YOU banners and rosettes. Give them grace and love them through the disappointments.
What supercedes all the awards our kids win is the fact they have created very well behaved companions and learned how to be excellent trainers, which spills over to any arena they compete in.
2 kids + 3 dogs x countless hours training and prepping = 11 classes entered = 11 Champions and Reserve Champions (not sure how they will top this year!)

Bella and Mahaya:
This is Bella’s second year. She is raised out Dixie’s first litter. She was so timid and immature last year. Mahaya didn’t even take her to State Fair last year because she was not ready maturity wise. What a difference a year makes! Don’t give up on your dog if you didn’t meet your goals this year! Some dogs take more time and more patience.
