Friends of Bay Animal Clinic,

This will be the final post of Bay Animal Clinic. It has been my pleasure to serve you all for the last 43 years. I would like to express my gratitude to my loyal clients as well as my family who were even more understanding of my work. Thank you all. I am in good health, but it was time for me to hang up the stethoscope.

The Bay Animal Clinic property is now in new hands. It was my desire for it to pass to a new practitioner, but despite my best efforts, that did not happen. I would like to thank my daughter, Sarah, for her years of work at the office as a tech when she lived in Mississippi and also for her work, in recent years, running the clinic website and page. My gratitude also goes to my daughter, Emily, for her midnight assists in surgical emergencies. I would also like to recognize my son, Samuel, for his years of assistance in the clinic and also for assisting in the clinic sale.

God bless all of you and again — Thank you. I will be seeing you around town.

Bay Animal Clinic's building is now empty and ready for a new owner! This property extends from St. John St. to Easterbrook and includes a 1470 sq. ft. sturdy building. Tomorrow, September 2, through September 11th the clinic will be open for clients to pick up records. Final medication refills only will be available as long as supplies last.

Dr. Mahler, after a career spanning 43 years and 2 months, has decided that it is time to take down his shingle and retire. The clinic will be open through August 30th. From September 3rd -11th, the clinic will be open for clients to pick up records and final medication refills only. Dr. Mahler will not be available during the September dates. Beginning September 12th, all records will be available only at Pet Haven Veterinary Hospital in Bay St. Louis.

"I would like to thank all of my clients, staff, and family for making this time more than I could have planned for back in 1981. I will miss all of you, but it is time to call it a career. Thank you."

Dr. Mahler will be out of the office from Thursday, May 30 through Wednesday, June 5 for continuing education. The staff will be available for questions, pet supplies, and routine medicine refills.

Bay Animal Clinic will be closed Monday, May 27th in commemoration of the Memorial Day holiday. Please take time out of your schedule to remember those who gave their lives for our present freedom.

Dr. Mahler will be out of the office on Thursday, March 7 and Friday, March 8. Clinic staff will be available during regular office hours for routine medication refills and questions.
