🐾 Sweet Senior Pup Looking for a Loving Home 🐾
Located in Cass City, MI

Meet Chenille – a fluffy, spunky 11½-year-old sweetheart looking for a soft place to land. 🐶💕

Chenille has lived a quiet life with one loving owner and has been great around kids and another dog in the home. She has lots of energy for her age and still enjoys exploring and spending time outside – but she does need a secure, fenced yard as she may wander off without one. She’s okay on leash, but it’s not her favorite thing.

She’s not a fan of cats and does have a strong prey drive, so she needs a home without small animals.

Chenille recently had lab work done and is overall in good health, but she does have dental issues (she prefers soft food or small kibble), and a large cyst on her foot that may eventually require surgery (amputation of a non-weight-bearing toe). She also has a few benign fatty cysts that the vet isn’t currently concerned about but could be removed if she were under for another procedure. She’s up to date on vaccinations.

She’s had some accidents indoors lately – likely due to a change in routine, as she’s used to someone being home to let her out regularly. With a more consistent schedule and attention, we believe this can be managed.

Chenille has a gentle soul, wants to please, and just needs someone patient and present to give her the love she deserves. She’s been a little anxious in recent months with all the changes and would thrive in a calm, caring environment.
