"I'm fine training my dog on my own"

While I have no doubt people can train their own dogs, group classes offer much more! Socialization with unfamiliar dogs (because getting along with other dogs in the same household isn't the same as socialization!), support for you from other pet parents going through the same issues, and consistency! Plus, you could learn how to get your dog ready for the Canine Good Citizenship test! Sign up in store or online!

"My dog is pulling a ton. Can't I just use a prong collar to stop it?"

Unfortunately, prong collars tend to be a temporary fix. The dog learns to listen to the prongs out of fear or pain, rather than choosing to listen to you! Pulling is a fixable issue, and it is always recommended that you treat your dog as your teammate. Forcing good behavior isn't the goal; getting your dog excited and willing to work with you is!
