💔 Remembering Marcia Donnelly 💔

Our rescue community has lost a true friend to the animals. Marcia Donnelly, founder of Spay Arkansas and NWA Community Cat Project, passed away following a tragic accident in Prairie Grove yesterday.

Marcia dedicated her life to reducing suffering through spay and neuter. She worked hand in hand with local rescues and community groups, always striving to make affordable care available — especially for cats. Because of her, over 80,000 surgeries have been performed since 2011. Her compassion for both animals and people touched countless lives, and her legacy will continue to ripple through our community for years to come.

We are deeply grateful for the work Marcia did, the lives she saved and the example she set. Our hearts are with her family, friends and all who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside her.

Rest peacefully, Marcia. Your impact lives on in every life you helped. 🐾💙
