This page is for all welcoming clients wether your new or has been coming to me for years. This place is to post pictures of your pets, talk about your groomer, ask me questions, make appointments, see great deals or just for a little stopping by to say hi lol. I have been grooming for 8 years now and had my business for 6 years. I opened on the year of 2008 in January on the 24th. I love all kind

s of animals but most my favorite is dogs. I like how they give you the attention and knowing that they'll always be there. I was working with horses for a while till I was told by a family member of mine that I should look into dog grooming and that if I opened my own shop here in Battle Mountain that I would be a big hit. I did my researched on it worked with a groomer here in BM before I went to school. After the first day that I worked I new this is what I wanted to do. Told my grandparents that I have found my dream job, they wanted me to give it about a week first before they helped me with schooling. Once they realized that this is it I enrolled at Penn Foster and took the Pet Grooming class. I finished that class in 10 1/2 months graduated with a nice Pet Groomer Diploma that's in my shop. Now here at Cassie's K-9 Design I groom different types of breeds from XSmall to XLarge. I do take walk ins as long as I don't have a busy day but mostly it's by appointment ONLY. I'm now accepting CATS, it took me quite sometime to decide if I want to accept cats or not but I decided to go ahead and start grooming cats in the beginning of this year 2014. Please be sure when you bring your dog it's on a leash coming into my shop and leaving my shop due to be close to some very busy roads I wouldn't want to see your beloved pet get hit. Now if your bringing a cat please please be sure you have it in a cat crate because we all know very well cats and dogs DO NOT like each other lol. Cassie’s K-9 Design is PERMANENTLY CLOSED! Sorry for any inconvenience. If you are wanting your dog groomed there are 2 groomers here in town. Lisa Clark with Lisa Muddy Paws and Cassie Shake with Bark N Claws. Happy New Year

Hello and good morning everyone!

I’ve been dreading for a while to make this post public about Cassie’s K-9 Design. Some of you may have heard the news and some probably may have not and some of you I have told and some I may have not told.

I’m saddened to say that I will be retiring from grooming at the end of the year. December 31st will be my last day grooming and will be the last day for Cassie’s K-9 Design. Lots of mixed emotions going on I’m happy because of my new adventure but sad to having forcefully retire from my career that I’m so passionately love doing due to some complications with my whole right hand/arm/shoulder.

So with that said I’m excited to announce 📢 that Cassie’s K-9 Design will be turning into a thrift store that I’ll be opening up sometime this upcoming year in mid March/April. I hope to see all of your faces shopping or checking out the thrift store and yes everyone ALL dogs are welcome to come in as long as they are on a leash and gone potty before coming in ☺️

I want to thank every single one of you, throughout my 16 years of business and 18 years of grooming whether I saw your pet once, twice or however many times I saw your beloved pet/pets. I had a lot of ups and downs while running my grooming shop that me a better person a better businesswoman and not only that it taught me a lot. I want to also thank my family for your support, business advice when I needed it and just for being there for me through my tough times.

This isn’t my last goodbye this is just me saying goodbye to Cassie’s K-9 Design and saying hello too Battle Born Bargain Barn 🥹 if anyone wants their dog groomed one last time please call or text me at 1 (775) 403-3331.
