Let’s talk cat grooming! We all cannot forget it is very important that cats get groomed just as much as dogs. The long-haired cats get Matting that is sometimes irreversible and needs to be shaved out or skin infection, being uncomfortable, and even sores and injuries can occur. cats with long hair need to be brushed out on a very regular basis as well as even the short haired kitties. I see matting when they are incapable of grooming themselves from being old, overweight, or just plain lazy lol .  an unkept unbrushed coat is also a major health concern when it comes to hairballs. Not to mention their ears needing to be cleaned and nails need to be clipped often. Cats are one of my favorites to groom, always have been even after 26 years of grooming😎😁 no we do not sedate the kitties or forcably hold them down. Believe it or not i think there smart senses know that I am helpng them. I very rarely get a argumentative kitty even with the ones that clients are extremely worried that they will be aggressive. I have pretty good luck🫣(hoping I’m not jinxing myself lol) grooming a kitty usually takes me about 30 minutes and yes clients are more than welcome to stay and watch or even help hold there cats if they like! And no, cats that you see in lion cuts, dino cuts or full shaves please don’t consider it abusive. It’s not, you can ask many of my clients as well as my own cat 😎 most of these felines enjoy their new do’s !!! Sometimes it’s done for medical reasons, sanitary reasons, shedding, inability of keepingup the coat or just personal preference.  we also offer soft paws, which is a rubber nail cap put on the cats nail for they cannot scratch up your furniture or you. They generally last about 6 to 8 weeks .we try to schedule cat appointments around the dog appointments so they are not stressed out. So I have noticed that peoples GPS are taking them in circles instead of directly to the shop. We are only two turns from downtown battleground and three turns from the Hawkinson Chevron. If you notice that your GPS is telling you something different, give me a call. I will go today and figure out the road names and I will post them. Also, don’t forget we offer pick up and drop off for those that don’t feel like taking the pajama pants off, but you can always drop them off in your pajama pants too. I don’t mind lol

Not a request we get often, but we were told to poodle their doodle and man did she come out cute!
 my daughter Katie did this one. She has been grooming for two years with me now and talk about a quick study. Katie has caught on amazingly fast. She does great work. She especially loves working on poodles. She really wants to get into colors and dying them.
