🐶❤️ 6 Weeks Old! ❤️🐶

How are these puppies already 6 weeks old?!

This week had many big milestones—their first car ride, their first vaccines and had their veterinary exams. Everyone did great and was showered with compliments on how friendly, confident, and well-socialized they are. They were also exposed to the high velocity drier and they did so good!

Their personalities are becoming more apparent every day. Some are bold and adventurous, some are thoughtful observers, and a few are professional lap puppies. They're spending their days running, wrestling, playing with toys, exploring new experiences, and lots of nas!

We're continuing to introduce new sights, sounds, surfaces, and everyday household activities as part of their early socialization. They're also making great progress with their designated potty area and are becoming much more aware of keeping their sleeping space clean.

The next two weeks are always bittersweet. We get to enjoy these sweet puppies as they become even more interactive and affectionate, while also knowing they'll soon be heading off to their forever families. ❤️

5 weeks old already?! ❤️🐶

These sweet things are becoming much more adventurous and confident, spending their days running, wrestling, playing with toys, and exploring every inch of their expanded puppy space. We've also introduced more sights, sounds-including the smoke alarm 🫣, and everyday household activities as part of their early socialization.

They're also becoming much more interested in people and seek out attention, cuddles, and interaction. It's so fun watching them make the connection that humans equal cuddles and treats🥰

Mealtimes are becoming much more civilized, and they're getting better at using their designated potty area. While accidents still happen because tiny bladders are hard to control, they're really starting to understand the concept of keeping their sleeping area clean.

The next few weeks are some of my favorites as their personalities and temperaments continue to develop and they become even more interactive with people. They're growing up way too fast! ❤️

4 weeks old already and somehow we’re officially halfway through their time with us before they head off to their new families 😭🐶

This week brought a huge jump in confidence, curiosity, and chaos. They’re now running, wrestling, growling at toys, pouncing on siblings, and interacting with us much more intentionally instead of just accidentally stumbling into us ❤️

Their puppy area was expanded this week and they’re now in the main part of the house getting exposed to all the normal day-to-day sounds and activities. They’ve become much more aware of their environment and are exploring new textures, sounds, and toys daily.

Personalities are also starting to peek through more now — from the bold explorers, to the dramatic complainers, to the laid-back cuddle bugs.

Puppy mash is officially a hit (even if most of it still ends up on their faces and paws 🤪), and they’re getting better at using their potty area instead of their sleeping space. We’re continuing lots of handling, socialization, nail trims, grooming exposure, and introducing everyday household sounds so they build confidence early.

They’re also entering the “land shark” era… where everything — including siblings, blankets, and my toes— must be bitten immediately 😂

Week 3 is when the tiny potato stage officially ends and the real puppy chaos begins 😂

Eyes and ears are open now! They’re running, starting to wrestle and play with each other, and discovering toys ❤️ Their puppy area was also expanded this week and a potty space was introduced. While they have almost no control yet, puppies instinctively try to potty away from where they sleep, so we’re helping encourage those early habits.

This week they also had their first taste of puppy mash… and let’s just say table manners are still a work in progress 🤪 After enthusiastically wearing more food than they actually ate, everyone also enjoyed their very first bath!

We’re starting to get little glimpses of their personalities now — from the confident explorers to the cuddle bugs to the dramatic attention seekers. We’re continuing early socialization with new textures, sounds, handling, and lots of snuggles as they grow!

✨ Week 2 already?! These little potatoes are officially starting to turn into puppies!

Eyes are opening, ears are slowly waking up, and we’re starting to see glimpses of their personalities peek through. They’re now cruising all over the pen with surprising determination and discovering they have a lot to say 😂. Between the squeaks, barks, growls, and dramatic puppy complaints, this litter has definitely found their voices.

This week is a huge developmental leap — they’re becoming more aware of the world around them, recognizing mom more intentionally, and starting to respond to light, movement, and touch🩷

Still lots of sleeping, eating, and growing around here… but the fun part is definitely beginning! 🐾

Just a quick update — I managed to accidentally get my GoodDog account suspended for a month 🤦‍♀️. I was chatting with someone about alternative payment methods and that violated their policies. So, if I seem to have temporarily disappeared over there, that’s why 😂

Everything is otherwise business as usual over here with the puppies!

Our eyes and ears are still closed, but we’re figuring out these wobbly legs, following our noses to mom, and growing like crazy. Lots of eating, sleeping, and tiny squeaks around here❤️
