Hi, my name is April and after living overseas, there were no jobs for radiography in my area. My friend asked me if I would like to watch her dog boarding business while she was on vacation, and I loved it. I then decided to go to The Paragon School of Pet Grooming in Grand Rapids to get my training and certificate. Afterward, I worked with my friend, grooming at her business, for two years. My h

usband's job brought me to the Battle Creek area and I liked grooming so much that I decided to pursue it here as well. My business is in a quiet, country setting with a climate controlled inside area as well as a large, fenced in play area outside.

Happy birthday to the Takoa puppies! They are 2 today. I arranged them in order. We have Takoa (not her birthday), Yota, Winifred, Akame, Mephisto, Tohru, Bailey, and Oslo. The ones who didn't get photos are Fenchurch, Jack, and Riggs

This is Luna! Luna is looking for a new home through no fault of her own. I only know her from grooming and boarding her, but I can tell you she is a very sweet girl who loves to give kisses. She had to be shaved due to matting, but she is a malamute and her fluff will grow back. If interested, make sure you research the breed.

Please no hate toward the current owners. Owning a dog can be tough, and sometimes life changes and the hardest thing an owner can do is accept that their dog needs more than they can provide. She is not going to a shelter, but will remain with her people until a new family can be found.

I love doing pet portraits, so I just thought I would share some photos that I've taken over the years. Who doesn't like looking at adorable pets? The first is a shelter cat and if you're looking to adopt, her and her sister are the sweetest girls I've ever met and I would have taken them if I didn't already have 3 cats of my own that would beat them up. Some of these creatures are still alive and well and we've had to say goodbye to others, but all of them are good boys and girls.

Happy 9th birthday to Pippa! My mom always thought it was November 2nd, but noticed on her paperwork that it's actually the 6th. Pippa is a sweet girl that loves to be outside getting herself injured.

Happy 9th birthday to Zuko Tuomas! He had a rough start to life so it takes him a very long time to warm up to people, but he is the sweetest boy who would be sitting in my lap all day if I let him. He loves cuddling with other dogs even though other dogs don't always appreciate it. Unless the vet gives me good news in the form of a reasonable surgery price, this will likely be his last birthday. So, if you know anyone in need of a groomer, send them my way.

Happy birthday to miss Takoa Fae! This is our Nasty Newdle. She loves to roll in anything smelly she can find. She loves playing with Meppy and her girls, but her girls are still afraid of her. If they get to fighting, all it takes is one small growl from Koa and they stop immediately.

Happy birthday to Mr. Mephisto Pheles! This is our Nifty Newdle. He pretty much likes everyone and everything. He's laid back and happy all the time. He went from being one of the smallest and in danger of not making it to 90 lbs of big dumb oaf. Love this boy.

Happy 1st Birthday to miss Akame Glynis. She is our Naughty Newdle. She is a very happy and bouncy destructive force that doesn't like strangers, but we love her anyway. Her birthday is also the 12th. She was our 5th born puppy.

Happy birthday to miss Winifred Mabel. She is our Nosy Newdle. She sticks her nose in/up everything and she's not too gentle about it. She's a sweet girl with a very big bark. She was one of our smaller puppies but is now 80 lbs. She was born on the 12th, but is the oldest of the puppies we kept as the 4th born, so she gets her post first.

October is birthday month for the Yeager Dogs (except Pippa, but we don't want her to feel left out). So we'll be posting pictures on their birthdays, except that the puppies share their birthday so they'll be spread out. I love doing dog photos
