We wrapped up a very tough Spring Grand in Wisconsin with 5 total passes for Team Chumac....

7XGRHRCH SRSC SRSAC Winston MNH owned by Wesley Hamm got his 7th pass at nearly 11 years old....This will be Winston's last Grand as he will now be retired to take care of the Hamm Household...

6XGRHRCH Poppi MNR owned by Mark Polkey passed her 6th Grand...She has accomplished quite a lot in her 5 years but even more exciting things are on the horizon for her...Be on the lookout for Poppi pups hitting the hunt test circuit this fall.

New GRHRCH SRSACC SRSC SRSAC Rip, MH QA2 Owned by Ron Anderson added another title to his ever expanding resume. What a Spring he has had. An Open 2nd, an Amateur 2nd...an SRS Open win and now a Grand Pass to give him his Grand title. Rip becomes Team Chumac's 70th Grand Champion!!!

HRCH Chumac's Californis Girl, MH owned by Mike Guillory got her 1st Grand pass as a 2year old. The future is very bright for this little girl!!

HRCH Gator, MH owned and handled by David Lowrance good his 1st Grand Pass....Super happy for David who has worked so hard with this talented pup....The future looks bright for David and Gator as well....

Thanks to all the club members, Grand committee, Grand Site Coordinators, and all associated with the Grand for all their hard work this week!!! Can't wait for Nashville in thr Fall!!

Had a great weekend running Master at Feliciana Retriever Club in St. Francisville LA..Very well run club and excellent challenging tests set up by Hilda Wood and David Murphy...

We had a great time competing with lots of friends at the Feliciana Classic SRS event in beautiful St. Francisville, LA.

We got a 3rd place finish with Mark Polkey's impressive dog Cutter. This qualifies Cutter for the SRS Crown Championship in October.

Cutter joins Rip, Bailey and Nado as qualifiers for Team Chumac.

Huge thank you to Shannon Nardi and Matt Emeraon and all the SRS crew as well as judges AL Arthur and Glen Scarborough who set up some very challenging tests.

The Tor"Nado" went thru the Feliciana's this weekend as Nado, owned by Rochelle Williams placed 3rd in the Open division...

The Tor"Nado" went thru the Feliciana's this weekend as Nado, owned by Rochelle Williams placed 3rd in the Open division of the Feliciana Retriever Club SRS against a strong field of competitors. This qualifies Nado for the 2025 SRS Crown Championship...

I could not be happier for Rochelle, as she is THE biggest SRS fan and number 1 Team Chumac cheerleader. CONGRATS Rochelle!! You are going to the Crown!!

Big thank you to our Judges Rody Best and Michael Akeroyd as well as our Marshall Matt Emerson ....Great job with some challenging and fun setups...

We had a great time as we traveled to Samson, Alabama for the 1st SRS event of the season at Windy Hill Retrievers. Michael Demmer and his family were incredible hosts...Carol Cassity and Chase Haws set up some extremely difficult tests, and Matt Emerson kept things flowing smoothly as Marshall.

We came away with a 1st place finish for Ron Anderson's dog Rip, which gives Rip his SRSC title. That title along with his SRSAC and SRSACC title make him the only dog in SRS history to obtain those 3 titles!!!! Congrats Ron!! Rip is a special animal!!!

We also came away with a 4th place finish for Poppi who is owned by Mark Polkey. That finish leaves Poppi 1 point away from her SRSC title.

Congrats to both of these fine dogs and I appreciate Ron and Mark giving me the opportunity to run them!!

Tanner is HRCH Chumac's Fowl Mouthed Shortstop, MH....Passed the 2023 Master National as a 2 year old. Spent summer of 2024 on Field Trial truck up North(6 months)

Tanner is NFC-AFC Bayou Teche Swing For The Fence x 4xGRHRCH Troubadour's Misty Morning Breeze HOF MNH...

Tanner will be 4 in February 2025....Very focused....Nice marker...Handles well...Excellent on/off switch....

Preference will be given to keep him at Chumac Kennels to pursue GRHRCH, MNH, and SRSC titles..
