Remember, Liberty Lagoon is going to the dogs this weekend.

Space is limited to the first 100 dogs for each session, and you must bring proof of rabies and bordatella vaccinations.

There are specific times for certain sized pups on Saturday, and Sunday is open for dogs of any size.

UPDATE: Duchess officially adopted as of September 9, 2025! ❤️

🙏This is the final day of WBRZ Channel 2's Dog Days of Summer. I have one final mission and need your help. Every year we come across one doggie that for some reason or another has slipped through the cracks. Duchess has been at Friends of the Animals Baton Rouge far too long. A soul this sweet should have a place to call her furever home. Let's get this beautiful girl adopted. See the note her foster pawrents attached to her crate. If you can't adopt, please 𝗟𝗜𝗞𝗘 & 𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗘 to spread the word and help us wrap the campaign with a happy ending.
