🏕️ Let’s gather around the campfire!

Join us for our Great Family Campout. From 4 p.m. until dark, we’ll have outdoor activities from s’mores by the campfire to an outdoor movie and more! You’ll wake up to a light breakfast after a night of sleeping under the stars.

Tents and sleeping bags are available for rent, and all food is provided.

🌿🐦 Trail Time for Toddlers and Swamp School is here!

Come enjoy the sights and sounds of the swamps, arts and crafts, storytelling, animal encounters, and healthy snacks at our 's Bluebonnet Swamp Nature Center

Sign up for a month at a time for our Trail Time for Toddlers and choose between our Wednesday or Thursday sessions. Can’t make it during the weekday? Sign up for our Saturday class.

Our Swamp School continues nature-based education for kids ages 6-10. This program is held four times a month and themes change each class. Registration for each month begins on the 1st of the month prior.

👻 Little Spooks, Big Fun at Swamp Haunted Hikes!

Looking for a spooky adventure without the scares? Bring the family to Bluebonnet Swamp’s Haunted Hikes for a night of friendly frights and hands-on fun! Trek the swamp trail after dark, meet costumed characters, collect treasures, and explore themed activities like the Haunted Maze, Creepy Cavern, Carnival Games, and arts and crafts.

🕷️ Learn about snakes, insects, rats, and other “creepy critters” along the way. Costumes are welcome, flashlights are a must, and adults must accompany all children.
