This is a work in progress and so I will put updates on the site as they happen. My buck Merlin, is a Pedigreed Holland Lop and my newly acquired doe, Penny is also a pedigreed Holland Lop. I will post their pictures so you can get a look for yourself. When we breed the rabbits and have bunnies they will have to be eight weeks old before they can go to their people's homes. So if all goes well I s

hould have baby bunnies by April 2014. They are such a wonderful breed of rabbit; very sweet, attractive, and extremely smart.

I have been very busy with school and haven't had much time to update my page. I am studying Diversified Agriculture at Piedmont Tech and staying busy. Penny and Merlin are doing great but ready to get outside in the Spring grass. Perhaps we will have some little ones in the next couple of months. Will keep you updated

The buns have been chillin' in the air conditioning. It's not great weather for them. The ideal temperature for the rabbits is between the 50's and 70's. I am sure they can't wait for cooler temps and more time outside of their cages.

So thankful that FFA/Tractor Supply believe in me and my Dylan's Dandy Lops Rabbitry so much to give my this scholarship. Was such a great experience to receive it at the FFA State Convention at Clemson.

My rabbit's first litter has been placed with two teacher friends of mine so I know they have great homes. I graduated high school last Friday night, May 30th and I have received a scholarship from FFA/Tractor Supply Company. The award comes mainly for my participation in FFA and my supervised agricultural experience which was my rabbitry. Many thanks to my rabbits Penny and Merlin for helping me get this most outstanding award.
