Meet junebug! This girl is 6 years old and looking for a place to call her own! We know it is kind of a long shot because at 6 years old she has never lived inside until this past year. She was a former community cat who after several litters was finally brought inside fixed and fully vetted. This girl is still semi-feral so would do best in a home without dogs or small children. She is the kind of girl who just wants her space. Junebug had a rather unfortunate case of stomatitis so she has no teeth meaning she really can’t go back outside. She can only eat wet food or soaked dry food. If you think that you’d be a good fit for junebug please feel free to reach out via email or messenger and we will send you an application! As much as her foster momma loves her with all her heart she knows that junebug needs a place of her own. ❤️

Today we were doing our weekly tnr trip and the staff informed us that one of the cats we trapped was recently postpartum meaning we had to release her earlier than we’d like to release females so that she could get back to her babies. Which also means we will be on heavy duty kitten watch for the next few weeks at the location that we have been trapping! 😩

In other news we did have an emergency intake tonight of 4 gorgeous kittens that were found in a box on the side of the road. Look at these sweet faces! The vet estimated at 5 weeks old POSSIBLY 6 weeks but highly doubtful with their size.

I was asked if I was okay today and my response “no it’s kitten season” and I can’t think of a better way to describe the week we have had.

With all that being said we will be updating our Amazon wishlist so keep an eye out for that!! 😅

Meet Zoe! This girl was found as a stray front declawed. After further inspection we found a microchip! Unfortunately her microchip was not registered to her owner but luckily the chip company kept track of who they sold their chips to! We contacted the vet and found out that Zoe’s mom passed away last year! After about 30 minutes of detective work we were able to track down a family member of miss Zoe’s mom’s and got quite a bit of information about this beautiful girl. Zoe is very much a pick your personal kind of cat she ONLY liked her momma and when she passed her moms son took her in. It them a while to be able to get her out of the house but they got her unfortunately Zoe was still searching for her momma and ended up running off and finding the girl who made her momma’s funeral flowers instead! You can’t make stories like this up! Such a small world. Little Zoe is in great hands and is ready to live out the rest of her days with her new momma. ❤️

Say hello to Mac! This sweet boy was getting into a Good Samaritan’s car engine so they trapped him and he is now safe! No more cars for him! This baby boy will get vetted and placed up for adoption! ❤️❤️

With kitten season approaching I feel it necessary to remind you not to take kittens from their moms if they have one! If you find a kitten by itself PLEASE ensure to look for signs of a mom or contact a rescue to help look for mom! If no mom is anywhere in site PLEASE DO NOT try to bottle feed babies by yourself without proper education first! If you fine a kitten under 6-8 weeks of age please contact a local rescue for help!

With kitten season slowly approaching again we are going to need kitten fosters again! We got so much help from last years post lets do it again this year! Fostering helps us save dozens of kittens from the elements. We are a mostly TNR based rescue meaning we do not normally take in owner surrenders. We focus on helping find homes for the kittens and friendly adult cats who have nowhere else to go and are living on the streets. Unfortunately we can’t do that without the help of fosters which is why fostering is so important!
