Today I saw LuLu, then Dani, Buddy Lee, Levi and last a new friend named Stormy. She was pretty shy but I’m sure she will come out of her shell soon.

Today was an extra hairy day!!!
Started with 2 more new friends, Seymour and Harley (hairy!) Macie stopped by for a nail trim, then Thea (hairy #2).. Then another new friend, Pepper, got a bath. Then Ollie (hairy #3) got a bath and deshed😳😳😳. Then Flash finished the day and week! I’m posting a Panoramic view of the floor after Ollie was done!!!

Today started with Hawkeye & Baylee, then the rest of the day was all NEW friends!!! Well, one is an old friend I haven’t seen in a while but new to Monte’s! Smokey & Cooper got baths, then met Diaz (he’s been trying to find a groomer so….), and then Annie! Had fun today.

Results from Bastrop County Best. Monte’s Dog Spaw, LLC ended up as a Runner Up. Best Friends got the top spot for Boarding & Grooming (they’ve been here since 1995!). We appreciate all of your confidence and the votes we did get and will continue to give y’all our best!!! I’m pleased we got the spot we did considering we’ve only been in business a year!!! Now I have a goal for next year!!!!

THANK YOU ALL!!!!!!!😘😘😁😁😁😁🥳🥳🥳

End of another fun week!

Started today with Harley, then Layla, Devon, Indie, then a traveler named Asta stopped by to have all the grass burrs removed from his legs! He went jogging with Dad and found a ton! He wouldn’t let them remove them so they stopped by and I took care of him for them! Sweet boy! Then new friends Paco & Sandy came in, then an old friend I haven’t seen in a while came in for a nail trim, Lucy! To finish the week Leia came in for a bath!

10/24/2026

Got to see Prima and Rocky, then Katie (she got bitten by a snake!), then new friend x 3!! Scooter and Harley and then Reggie! Then Deva was last. Sometimes it takes a little longer when I meet new friends so today was a little longer than usual. It’s all good though!

10/23/2026

Started today with A new friend, Gizmo! He was good!! Then Teddy, then Duchess. Last time she came in all she got was a bath because she was really scared. This time I got to actually groom her (other than her feet/legs). Then Bernie then Fritz stopped in for a nail trim! Last was another new friend that didn’t do so good. Her name is Luna and she’s had a really bad experience at some point and won’t let anyone touch her face. I tried really hard but she was not having it. I don’t like to not finish a groom but when it’s stressing the dog you do what’s best for them. (Please don’t judge the unfinished groom)
