Dr. Lightfoot PSA: this guy was on our patio last night around 11pm munching down on some bird seed! He’s fat and really cute. Of course, my veterinary mind goes to all of the things he is NOT protected against and could be carrying…Leptospirosis, Distemper, fleas, ticks (likely because the deer we see are covered), Echinococcosis (tapeworms), and even Rabies. PLEASE keep your pets vaccinated. These critters are lurking and you may not see them or think they are around. In addition, QUATTRO is the only single preventive that gets heartworms, fleas, ticks, most intestinal parasites INCLUDING tapeworms and is the only one I trust for my dogs to keep them protected. Preventive medicine is SO important.
