Rambo needs help saving his life…

https://gofund.me/40daa141

rambo went from a slight limp, to paralyzed in his back legs, to now having major liver issues fighting for his life….this is not fair…….hes in emergency vet right now, i been crying non stop, love this guy more than life it self, he’s so special, my son, my dream dog, he wouldn’t hurt a fly, this is not how his story was supposed to end….he didn’t survive living in the streets seeing his mother die, multiple cancer surgery’s…to go out like this!!! he deserves much much better!

if anyone wants to help him out, we would appreciate it…. i been to a handful of vet appointments, got multiple opinions, and starting to add up, asking for help with the emergency bill…

pray for rambo please, we will know in 12-24 hours if he has a shot at life again.

ty so much to Valley Central Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center, they have done an amazing job trying to save him, couldn’t recommend them enough, i’ll post the bill once i get it!

way more to this story, that i may or may not share!

update- first off let me say rambo would of been dead multiple times already with out valley central helping him, literally, multiple times i almost gave up on him, even made the calls for at home vets to end his suffering, he was done, liver numbers was so so bad, he gave up, all day friday he was not eating or even responding to me while i was crying begging him not to give up, wouldn’t even look at me, was extremely sick, they could of lied to me and made money right there, but they said it would be a long shot to be able to help him in this shape and it was a lot of money for me, at that point i had multiple vets recommend time was real close, i was preparing to let him go! when i left friday, they gave me one tip, just to help him feel a little better, so he can have a few good days and maybe eat before he goes, instead that tip saved his life, just feeling a little better gave him a chance to fight, and thats all rambo needed, fight he did…..

thanks to there tip, he slowly started to eat and interact with me again, by sunday he somewhat resembled my son again, i was struggling to let gim go sooooo bad, so i brought him back in just to see if they thought he would have a better shot at surviving if we did the treatment or give me the push to let him go, they agreed he looked better, his numbers was still terrible and still would be a long shot, but with rambo fighting …there would be a chance, At that point, it was an easy choice for me, i was only going to give up because he was giving up, if a dog is fighting…you fight!

i under stood it would still be a miracle, but decided to ask yall for help to donate (can’t thank yall enough) and give him a shot, i understood there was a good chance it would not help and would be a waste of money! they was very honest and clear, you don’t see that everyday!!!

now- after 24 hours his liver numbers improved drastically, he’s eating and happy, he will be in one more day to hopefully improve a little more and come home tomorrow, but right now it looks like rambo will get a shot at life again!

on top of all that, he’s getting slight feeling back in one of his back legs, he had a twitch when being examed! 👀👀👀

it’s a literal miracle, i’m shocked, i picked up the phone crying because i was sure i was going to get bad news, it just was so unlikely, valley central i will never forget yall giving rambo a shot at life, ill go there from now on for emergencies and recommend all yall to do the same!

after fridays visit when i thought rambo was done, they sent the nicest letter i ever seen, was beautiful, instructions, advice and heart all in one, never seen a vet do anything like that! also the facility is nicer than the children emergency rooms around here, it’s sad but true, i now feel safer taking my dog in for an emergency than my kids lol much love to you all who helped make this happen, but especially doc who ill ask if i can shout out tomorrow lol

so proud of rambo, hes such an inspiration, he didnt deserve any of this, and really had no shot at fighting, valley central gave him a shot and he took it, he over came so much in life that most wouldnt be able to!

i love all yall who helped rambo, truly and wont forget it

🚨 3rd Snake Bite This Month – Please Read 🐍🐾

We were notified today that another local dog was bitten by a snake. Thankfully, their pup is recovering—but that makes three confirmed snake bites in our area just this month.

We’re sharing this not to scare anyone, but to help keep your pets safe.

🐾 Rattlesnakes are active in the Poconos this time of year, especially near trails, tall grass, and wooded areas. Please take extra precautions while walking or hiking with your pets.

Signs of a rattlesnake bite in dogs or cats may include:
⚠️ Swelling at the bite site
⚠️ Sudden pain or limping
⚠️ Lethargy, drooling, or trembling
⚠️ Puncture wounds or bruising

💉 Bites are a medical emergency. Immediate treatment is critical. If you suspect your pet has been bitten:
➡️ Stay calm and limit their movement
➡️ Do NOT apply ice or a tourniquet
➡️ Call your vet or go directly to the nearest emergency clinic

The closest known locations that do are:
🔹 Barton Heights
🔹 Pocono Peak Veterinary Center
🔹 Creature Comforts Veterinary Service
🔹 Smithfield Animal Hospital
🔹 Valley Central

We hope you never need this info—but we’d rather you be prepared. Please share with fellow pet parents and help us keep our community safe. 💚🐾

📣 PSA to our Pawlished family!

Please, please, please make sure you are treating your pets for fleas and ticks. With all the rain and humidity they are all over. We are seeing a ton of clients with both. We always bomb the shop after a pet with fleas has been in. But it doesn’t stop with us. You need to treat your pets, home, and yard. We love providing a safe and clean environment for our family, however flea and tick baths will be an additional cost due to all the work it costs to remove them from your pet and the shop. We hope you all can understand 💕

To also add if you need any help or guidance just ask!
