Meet Torti Ya! She showed up at one of our foster homes, clearly hungry and looking for a little kindness. It's obvious someone had abandoned her, but despite being a bit shy at first, she quickly proved to be friendly and sweet.

After being rescued, we had her fully vetted and discovered she’s had a tough time living outside. At around 4 years old, she’s missing some teeth and was quite skinny, but after some TLC, she’s now spayed, vaccinated, and in great health. And the best part? She’s super friendly, playful, and loves attention!

Meet Torti YA! (say it out loud quickly until you get it 🤣) is she cute or what?? She showed up at one of our fosters homes a bit ago, already tipped. It took a little while to gain her trust but Marla finally did and scooped her up and brought her in.

NOW Torti Ya needs a family! She is very friendly and loves attention. Our Vet estimates her to be about 4-5 years old. She was obviously just dumped since once she was inside she settled in quickly. She had a pretty rough time outside. She is missing some teeth and had a respiratory infection when we first brought her in. But she is happy and healthy now.

We got her vaccinated, flea, worm and ear mite treated, and tested and she is all ready for a family to call her own!

We picked up another bale of straw to beef up the houses and the wagon the cats so love 🙄.

We have deadly cold weather headed here next week. We have 4 heated houses and 6 other houses further out on the property for this colony as well as the wagon under a covered storage area.

But even with the insulated houses this weather is very dangerous and uncomfortable for the animals.

And don’t give me the bs story of they have fur and are made to be outside. Do me a favor put on a heavy coat and go out in 8, 15 even 30 degree weather and see how long you can sit out there and be comfortable…

Be kind, supply some safe cover insulated with straw for a furry soul to get some comfort.

Welp, we raised a whopping $57 in our winter fundraiser to TNR 14 cats and continue feeding and caring for the colonies we take care of...that won't even cover to boost it on this ridiculous app.

If anyone would rather send food etc, here is our chewy rescue link. But that being said we still need monetary donations to pay for the tnr's we have scheduled and to pay the balance on our rescue card. we need to raise close to $6000 just to pay the outstanding balance and spay/neuters we have coming up next month.

It's a New Year and we are already in full swing trying to get cats fixed, vetted and colony cats fed.

We are in need of donations to pay off the credit card balance we have and more importantly to pay for the new bills we will be accumulating.

Just this past weekend we got 3 cats fixed, and we have another 14 cats to trap and fix...as well as needing to feed the colony cats we care for.

Chrissie, who now goes by Zoe, has made herself right at home and part of the family this holiday season. From finding a favorite spot under the tree (notice the need for a lack of low-hanging ornaments - IYKYK), to taking over the dog’s bed, getting churus practically on demand, and surveying her new kingdom from atop her cat tree, this sweet girl has settled in quite nicely. We’re so happy she has the happy ever after she deserves!

Santa saw Chrissie’s wish list for a family to call her own for the holidays, and TODAY her wish came true!

Our spunky adorable Chrissie was adopted by a coworker of Amy and we are so happy for her! She is going to have a dog Brother and lots of room To zoom around. She LOVES to play!

Chrissie was almost 5 months old when we trapped her and needed a LOT of socialization. But we knew she would turn around. She was so curious and you could tell she wanted to have that breakthrough and trust. And slowly but surely she did it!

We have terrific news about Diablo, the little kitten who was attacked by a dog that needed surgery.

Diablo is all healed from His surgery AND was adopted on Sunday. He is doing great in his new home. They sent this picture.
