Please join us in welcoming Dr Rosemarie Niznik to The Whole Pet on June 12th
Dr. Rosemarie Niznik is an Integrative Veterinarian who received her undergraduate degree in Animal Bioscience at Penn State and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine.
She obtained Certification in Veterinary Acupuncture from the Chi Institute for Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and Certification in VSMT (Animal Chiropractic) from the Healing Oasis Medical Center.
Recently, she has served on the Board of the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association since 2012. She was the President of the Chicago VMA in 2016. Currently, She is President of the affiliate organization, Chicago Veterinary Medical Foundation, for a third 2 year term. In September 2020, she was inducted as a 3 yr Board Member Position of the American Holistic Veterinary Medical
Association, AHVMA.
Currently, Dr. Niznik practices integrative and palliative care veterinary medicine in Illinois and Wisconsin in her house call veterinary practice, Harmony Rose Animal Wellness.
She is a small animal acupuncture teaching assistant for the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society, IVAS, and the Chi Institute of TCVM.
She continues her studies in the Master’s Program at the Chi University in Herbal Medicine, Food Therapy, and Tui-na. She is pursuing Certification in Hospice and Palliative Care. She shares a 5 acre farm and home with her husband, Chip, a Bernese Mountain Dog, Grace, and two rescue cats, Wendy and Willa.
