🐾 The name Athena is of Greek origin, meaning goddess of wisdom, warfare, and crafts. While this shepherd is German not Greek, she truly lives up to her name in every other way. From the moment you meet her her wisdom shines. She is somehow always two steps ahead- knowing the exact spot you were planning to sit on the couch. When it comes to treats, her strategic warfare is no match- she’ll quietly observe, plan her move, and swoop in at the perfect moment to make you fold. Then there’s her crafty cuddle engineering. Athena meticulously arranges herself beside you, creating the perfect cozy snuggle spot that will make you stay in all day.

Athena is fully vaccinated and healthy 6-year-old, house trained alongside her previous furry companion. Athena is ready to make herself and her cuddles a permanent part of your life, finding her forever family to let her Goddess self shine! ✨🐶💛

We know vet visits can feel overwhelming for many pets — that’s why at our clinic, we meet our patients where they are.🤍 When this sweet boy was feeling the nerves of vaccines, Dr. Krol brought the care to him, right outside in the fresh air. Sometimes, compassion means trading the exam table for the grass — because what matters most is helping our patients feel safe, seen, and supported. 🐾

Plot Twist: It Actually Happens 🌳🚒🐈
It’s the kind of moment you’d expect to see in the movies—
But today it was a real-life rescue.
A big thank you to the quick action of our amazing Barrington Fire Department for creating a cinema hero moment, rescuing this kitten from a tree.

The cat is now safe and sound on the ground, and now it’s our turn to be the hero’s and help this adventurous kitty return home. Contact us if you have information!❤️
