Oakwood Farms Oakwood Farms offers full service boarding to horses and riders of all disciplines and walks of life. We offer boarding, training, lessons and sales.

Complete with 60 stalls, all-day pasture and paddock turnout, indoor and outdoor arenas, and 24/7 on-site management. Oakwood Farms is a unique boarding and training facility located in beautiful and scenic Barrington Hills. We pride ourselves in being a community where horses and riders of every discipline, skill level, and age are welcome. We have boarders who compete, trail ride, participate in

Natural Horsemanship events, retirees, young horses...etc. All are welcome to our group of eclectic folks who love their horses. Our facility offers:

-60 stalls of varying sizes
-All-day turn out
-Private paddocks (grass and all-weather)
-3 group pastures
-Polo field
-Heated indoor arena
-Outdoor sand area
-Social area
-Viewing room
-Private tack rooms
-Indoor heated wash rack

Our full-service board includes twice daily hay and grain, bedding, daily stall cleanings with shavings added routinely, tack room access, all-day turn out, and access to all our riding areas. We have various size stalls available immediately! Vet and farrier holds are free of charge! Supplements given daily free of charge!

Oakwood has an outdoor arena and a polo field, and sits just steps away from miles of scenic trails and a beautifully maintained riding center - if outdoor riding is calling your name, give us a call. We have 2 stalls open and ready for move in asap!

Team Oakwood had a great time at the RCBH Fall Spooktacular yesterday!

Clara and Pear won the 2’3” over fences class, and Elin Laschen and Party on took 4th in the 2’0” over fences class - and then this fun young rider duo brought their ponies to the costume class as giraffes and their zoo keepers! So fun!

Audrey Bilton completed her first horse show ever!! She and T-Bear won the walk/trot class and came to the costume class dressed as a fairy! T-Bear also carried Judge Fatima Kranz grandson Logan to a blue ribbon in leadline!

Celia and Falken won their TOC class, won the 2’0” over fences class, and won their starter CT division, taking home high point trophy for over fences! Falken and Celia’s husband Todd then completed the Husbands class for a pretty blue ribbon! Straight blues for Falken today!

Brooke and Arrow won their cross rails over fences class, placed third in the 2’0 over fences class, and finished on their dressage score for secure 2nd in their CT class! And then came to the costume class dressed up as Picasso and his paint!

Ashlee and Andy rode their way to a blue ribbon in first level dressage dressed up like Santa! Her husband Nemanja took home a blue ribbon in the husbands class, her God daughter Molly rode him in leadline, and then he and Nemanja took over as Santa and his elf in the costume class!

Meredith unexpectedly rode Thor to a 5th place finish after Krista had a family emergency. Her daughters Molly and Ella rode Felix and Andy in the leadline class and took home some cool trophies!

Peter Fleps and Carl the Belgian came to Carls first horse show and did the Do You Best class sporting an awesome outfit and a great attitude. They took home a fancy blue ribbon.

All in all, it was a great day - fun, relaxed, and a perfect atmosphere for learning and confidence boosting. Can’t wait for the next one!!
