A chilly Saturday found many local pony clubbers gathering at DC Megan Mosier's home to study for Quiz Rally and get a leg up on preparing for testings this spring and summer.

FRVPC is sending 2 scramble teams to Regional Quiz Rally, which will be held near Peoria during the last weekend of February. Ashley, Ava and Elise plus a fourth Senior D rider from St James Pony Club complete the Senior D team. Naomi and Sophie will be joined by two others to round out the Junior D scramble team.

Kudos to Emily and Kayli for helping them study and to Ava and Kayli who brought bits, bridles and blankets for study. All watched a proper longeing techniques video, studied flash cards, and practiced introducing themselves and using proper procedure for requesting Quiz Rally questions. All had great fun!

Quiz Rally is an interactive and fun--and horseless--team competition that centers on members' knowledge of horses and Pony Club disciplines.
