We had a great time at IEA Nationals in St. Louis. Malin placed 7th in a very competitive Open division (2'6") against the top 18 riders in the country as a Freshman. We couldn't be more proud of her accomplishment!

💙We are holding 3 IEA practices at Deerwood in September. The dates of these practices are September 9, 16, & 30. These are all Mondays and we will likely have two sessions at 4:15 & 5:00 depending on how many we have signed up. The sign up sheet is posted on the door to the boarder tack room- please sign up asap!

💙The first two shows of the season are September 21 and September 22. Deerwood is hosting this show at On Course Riding Academy in Grayslake IL. We’d love to see as many of our team members there as possible! 🥇

Team Deerwood had an amazing IEA Season. We couldn't be more proud of all of your hard work and accomplishments. Congrats to the Middle School Team for being Region 10 Champions and the High School Team for being Region 10 Reserve Champions. We also had 3 high point riders. Way to go Malin, Claire, and Izzy! And don't forget the Adult riders who came to support and collect their trophies...Jenna and Katie! Can't wait to see what next season brings for this amazing group of riders!

Team Deerwood had a great IEA Regionals at Ledges last weekend. We are so proud of everyone who made it there and did a great job competing.🏆

Special congratulations go out to Nora, Malin, and Julia for qualifying for Zones in March🥇🎉🎉🐎🐎

Also, we couldn't have done it without our helpers behind the scenes... of course Bozena! As well as Lena, Malin, Elsie, Cora and Vera! Thanks so much ladies!💪💪

Team Deerwood had a fun and successful weekend at our last regular season IEA Shows at Palatine Stables!

Saturday our High School Team was Champion and qualified for regionals! WTG GIRLS! They were also Reserve Champion Sunday.🎉🎉🎉

Middle School was also Champion but on BOTH Saturday and Sunday!! They are headed to regionals as well!! Such a solid group! WTG TEAM! 🐎🐎🐎

Adults were on 🔥 fire!! They took home top placings in both jumping and flat both Saturday and Sunday! So happy to have them as an addition to Team Deerwood!

Too many individual qualifiers to mention! We couldn't be more proud of everyone who rode and assisted!

Special Awards go to Stash for "horse of the show" Saturday and Lena won the Sportsmanship award Saturday for all her help and kindness.

Thank you Palatine for hosting yet another great weekend!
