IMPORTANT SERVICE UPDATE!
Now that I have spoken with all of my loved ones and informed my established clients, it’s time to make the big social media announcement.
After 3 years in a long distance relationship with my partner, I have decided to grab life by the (viking) horns, and move to him in Sweden! Look how equally excited Jaga, Eric Northmeow and I are! The adventure begins in June, so Fishtown Furbabies last day of services will be May 31, 2023, closing officially on June 1st. 😭😭
While it’s extremely exciting, it’s also sad having to announce the closing of Fishtown Furbabies. I can’t begin to express how much this little business of mine has meant to me, and clients like yourself have made it very special. In 2017, I built Fishtown Furbabies from the ground up, and really poured my heart into it. For over 6 years, rain or shine, heatwave or snowstorm, and even in a pandemic, I’ve been available and caring for your pets and homes as if they were my own. It has been a level of trust that I never took for granted, and it has been incredibly rewarding to serve my community in this way. Helping my neighbors travel, work, and deal with life as it comes knowing they can feel more at ease, and bringing some love and fun to their pets daily lives has always warmed my heart, too. It’s been a wonderful experience; the best job in the world, really haha and to leave it honestly feels crazy!! But it’s time for a new adventure.
Thank you all for your years of trust in me, and for supporting small businesses. Surviving through the pandemic was a huge challenge for people like me, and I wasn’t sure if Fishtown Furbabies would make it. I always say how we consume is a vote for what we want to see in the world, and you did your part for many of us, and kept many local small businesses alive. It was heartening to witness and experience. This is a community that I will certainly miss and am proud to have served.
