The goal of Shar-Pei Rescue of VA is to help rehabilitate and re-home shelter Shar-Pei, Shar-Pei in situations of cruelty and neglect or simply families that can no longer care for their Chinese Shar-Pei.

Hap-Pei 15th Birthday 🎂to Hershey, who was adopted in 2011! Hershey has some arthritis, but is otherwise happy and healthy and enjoying her wagon rides to the park ❤. We love this hap-pei update!

Hershey and her brother Nino, who were adopted together ❤❤, flew in from Kentucky back in 2011 and met up with a bunch of volunteers that we had moving dogs all over the East coast on a fall weekend 14 years ago! Sadly, Nino passed away a few years ago.

Look at this beautiful girl😍! We can't believe Annie has not been snatched up yet...she's just perfect Her Foster Mommy says that she is a fantastic girl and super easy! Just 41 pounds! We are so saddened to hear that LaRue has crossed to Rainbow Bridge 😢. LaRue was adopted in 2013 and was so loved by his wonderful family. We are heartbroken for his family ❤. Rest in peace sweet boy ❤

Hi, I'm Diamond! I am sweet, gentle black female Shar-Pei, about four years old. Foster Mommy says that I am a good girl, polite and well mannered. I am totally housebroken. I don’t bother anything when left inside alone for hours. I enjoy riding in the car.
I want to happily hang out with Foster Mom inside or outside and love to gently play with my human. I will go in my kennel or play outside/inside by myself but would love to be by your side very well behaved all day. I am okay with most other dogs.

Sorella (long ago known as Cal Lee, adopted 2012) is 13-1/2 and still doing great ❤❤❤. We love these hap-pei photos of Sorella. She was quite a "star" here years ago, rescued from a Tennessee shelter...some of you may remember her 😀. Baby pictures will be in comments!
