Starting fair week off with a BANG! Hailey showed her rabbits today in the Knox county show and the open show. Hailey won best 4 class and best in show with her Himalayan doe, reserve 4 class and reserve in show with her mini Rex as well as senior showmanship for the Knox show, then the open show went the same way! She’s so excited to win her first banners and already figuring out where to put them!

Keep an eye out for wild bunny nests when mowing and gardening! Momma bunnies will dig in yards and build nests and come back to the nests twice a day, nests will look abandoned but please LEAVE THEM ALONE, do not touch them or think they are alone, they are not. LEAVE WILD RABBITS WILD.

Our Rabbitry suffered a great loss over the weekend, our very first Himalayan that we picked up when we first started showing in 2017 passed away, Jam battled with a bad case of pneumonia last winter and again this winter and unfortunately he couldn’t be saved this time. We are heart broken.

90% of bunnies, chicks, and ducks, purchased as pets for Easter, are sent to shelters, sold, or left on their own before...

90% of bunnies, chicks, and ducks, purchased as pets for Easter, are sent to shelters, sold, or left on their own before their first birthday and long forgotten after the new wears off and parents are tired of taking care of them...

Please consider chocolate bunnies instead.
