We are so excited to welcome Dr. Miller Young to Bourbon City Animal Hospital!

Dr. Miller Young is a proud native of Columbia, Kentucky, where he grew up working on his family’s beef cattle farm developing an appreciation for animals and rural life.

Dr. Young earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky. He went on to
receive his DVM from St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine, completing his
clinical training at Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Young enjoys
working with both companion animals and exotics.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Young is an outdoorsman who enjoys farming, exploring nature, traveling, riding anything with two wheels and growing his reptile collection.

Dr. Young shares his life with three beloved pets: Zeus, Mr. Wiggles, and Toad, who serve as a constant reminder of why he loves this profession.

Dr. Young will begin seeing patients on Monday, July 21, 2025.
