We are looking for a WEEKEND Stable hand. Must have experience working with horses, mucking stalls, operating farm equipment, be aware of signs of colic, lameness and injury. Must also be able to lift 50+ lbs, be reliable and have transportation. Duties include but not limited to: Mucking matted stalls, feeding horses, daily turnout, and various barn and pasture chores.

We have some spots open in our lesson program for riders age 8 and up. Lessons are geared for beginners who would like to learn how to ride horses and learn how to care for them. We have lessons Monday-Thursday 4-6pm. Lessons are $50.00 For more information you can contact Amy at 304-972-6091

A very sad day at Melody T Farms Stables. A long time resident here, MUNGO, lovingly owned by Frank and Robin Adkins, crossed the rainbow bridge this afternoon. This 34 year amazing horse was adored and cared for here by Amy Maynard and Jenna Gibson seeing to all of his needs. He was a favorite here and even with his onset age, he was “THE BOSS”. He will be sorely missed.
