Aptitude Dressage and Sporthorses Dressage breeding and training in NE Ohio Our goal is to produce and develop sporthorses destined for the top of the sport.

We strive to follow a methodical, progressive training system based around the German Training Pyramid. We aim to develop horses with a high degree of rideability as well as being incredibly competitive in the modern dressage ring. Our breeding program is oriented towards breeding our high quality mares to the best stallions that will produce not only exquisite quality but also exemplary temperaments.

We are thrilled to announce starting May 1, we will be taking in training/lesson clients at the gorgeous Twinbrook Farm in Medina. This new partnership promises to offer some exciting new opportunities for the area.

Twinbrook offers the following amenities:

12'x12' stalls with 4'x4' window
Stalls cleaned daily
Turnout daily with either pasture or all weather paddock
80'x180' indoor
80'x190' outdoor

DesChappelles "Ruby Too" says "Woohoo!!" her daughter Fabriselle APT by Fabregas just earned a 67.2%, winning her class in her 4th level debut!! She has been brought along since she was purchased as a foal, by her AA owner Christina Brennan who has done absolutely wonderful with her!! Brie has also done the Pony Express ride (look it up, very cool!), jumping, cross country, I think even a little fox hunting as well. We will share some pics when we get them!

Ruby Too really stamps her foals and out of her 4 foals this makes two out there crushing it in the show ring. Oldest daughter Confetti APT is competing Grand Prix and Fabriselle APT is now at 4th Level. Renata APT is retained by us and was my riding horse and is planning to have a 2024 foal by her and the last one we lost to colic as a 3 year old.

Introducing Tamatoa APT by Gaudi SSF (Totilas/DeNiro) out of Fleur de Lis APT (Falsterbo/Rousseau).

This gorgeous little c**t has already shown us some great movement so we are excited to see him once he unfolds.

He will be registered KWPN so he needed a "T" name and his name comes from Moana, the blingy crab (IYKYK).

We are still working on a barn name and open to suggestions!! Many more pics to come as he unfolds! He will be available!
