Beauty from today! Thanks everyone for a wonderful season so far

For anyone bringing turkeys today I am on night shift and will be asleep some during the day. If you kill one don’t skin him out let me do it, if you have a freezer put him in a garbage bag right after the kill, try to keep all blood off of feathers ( very important) and lay him in freezer. I do have a drop off at my new shop. The address is 286 md Moore road bankston al 35542. The white shop in the picture I’m attaching is where to be dropped off and laid in floor. Just make sure and attach something to your bird or bag of your name and number. I’ll have someone checking it throughout the day. Thanks to everyone who has dropped off already it’s been a great start to the season!

Few beauties

Beyond thankful for the last few weeks. Attended the annual Alabama taxidermy show in professional division and was able to take home the NWTF best professional turkey, and the artisan award which meant more than anything due to it being voted on by all the taxidermist at the show. Attended the Tennessee Taxidermy show this past weekend and made a few adjustments on my two birds and moved up to the masters category and was able to win masters best of category turkey, ingles woodworks most artistic award, judges favorite turkey mount, first place, and half off a pedestel. I am beyond greatful and really love attending shows. The board members and people make it for such a great weekend of learning and betters your skills on any level and will always answer any questions. And thankful for my wife always sticking by my side and being there with me. It’s always like a vacation for us and time away with good friends. Also thanks to my customers for allowing me the chance to mount turkeys. Without all of y’all this wouldn’t be possible.If you have a mount with me please be patient we are getting them done as fast as possible. Southern Ground Taxidermy

Two beautiful birds mounted up. One ready to go home one just finished. I always think about my favorite turkey and I love all of them but there’s just something about the colors of a rio grande. Every color you can imagine!

A couple pretty ones done the last two days. And the white one was beautiful, it was on trail camera from the time it was born. How a white turkey survived gets me but I’m glad it did! Southern Ground Taxidermy

Few beauties mounted up recently. If you have a turkey with me I am steadily knocking them out. Within the next couple months you should be hearing from me.
