Vet visit today for Brody and Pompeii. Brody dealing with a RI and Pompeii with scale rot. Brodie is recieving a course of antibiotics and will hopefully make a great recovery. When running a rescue it is always hard when animals come in or get sick in our care. It's even harder when they pass from those ailments. Pompeii was very lethargic this morning and was struggling. Sometimes these progress quickly. We unfortunately were not able to save our beautiful girl and hope that her spirit lives on to help our rescue to continue our mission to provide a wonderful home for animals in need. Rest in Peace Pompeii, we love you. Thank you for bringing so many smiles to many faces. Thank you again to Dr. Lewis and Kindred Spirit Veterinarian for all your great care to our rescue family.
