Had to take advantage of the after Easter sales and snagged these cute toys for next year! For a $3 add on you can choose which toy you'd like to add (limited stock!). Also a friendly reminder to hang on to those Easter egg bones so I can fill them up next year at a discount!

Easter baskets are going out for delivery tomorrow!

For those of you who purchased one, particularly if you have the one with the Easter egg bones in them, if you keep the bones and the basket for next year or to give back to me to reuse I will discount you $4 on next year's basket! If you purchased the one with just the cookies I will discount $2 if you return or reuse the basket next year. 🐣

❗ Long Post Alert❗

Those who know me know what I do for a living. I'm a Diving Safety Officer at the University of Maine overseeing scuba diving within the university system. Because of this, I have a huge passion for the underwater world. A part of that is attending the annual AAUS symposium, which is the American Academy of Underwater Sciences. The University is an organizational member and has been since 1996 and we continue this long-going relationship in order to make sure that our divers can conduct underwater research efficiently, effectively and safely. 🤿🌊

AAUS reached out to all the attendees asking for donations for their raffle and because of this I thought it was a great opportunity to donate some underwater themed cookies from Shark Bait Dog Treats! Not only that, but I figured might as well make sure that they were truly Maine Made products and so I chose the honey blueberry which are made with wild Maine blueberries as well as Maine wild flower honey all around one of the better cookies and I can't wait for these to showcase at the symposium and spread Shark Bait treats with the rest of the community. 🧜

Thank you for the provided input on the treat bags.

It made my heart feel well that everyone was onboard with the composting bags!

That said, here is the new bag size. They are 4oz bags as opposed to the 2oz. But you can manage to fit quite a lot of cookies into one. This way I can have the labels a little higher and you can see the cookies better.

I also wanted to highlight the fact that the ENTIRE label is composting. Meaning the bag and the labels. Everything from the bags I received them in, to the tape the company ships them in is composting. However, I will be using the kraft bags with the clear front for now until they are used up.

Because of this, keep in mind, this is one reason prices might be a little higher.

Yesterday I posted some photos of some not so perfect cookies. When handmaking, not everything comes out right. We even get some "casualties". 🫗

That doesn't mean they go to waste though!
Meet the treat tester, Rae! Highly qualified, and gives the licks of approval for the pumpkin cinnamon treats. 🐾

Rae loves when I have cookies like these for her. ❤️

We are approaching March... This is crazy!

I'm getting busy for my first market of the season so here is what you will find there. And I'll be honest, these ones didn't come out perfect but to me, that's what makes these treats special. To know that they aren't going to be perfect because they didn't come from a factory. When I see these imperfections, I see homemade treats made with love 💕

We are preparing for our first craft fair of the year!

I'll have a bunch of my four flavors in different varieties as well as 6 treat jars filled with cookies. I even snagged this Valentine's one on sale if anyone is interested!
