Nacho is currently enrolled in a 3 week Board and Train program with Trainer Emmie Haase. Nacho is doing great so far with her training and is coming along nicely. Nacho is well on her way to being a well rounded 💯 certified good girl 🙂!

K-9 Douglas and Handler Janet one of our SAR Teams getting ready to go up for recertification knocked out a nice track today in preparation. We forgot to run our normal tracking app for data so the Fi collar it was 🤣.

Yesterday afternoon we got in some Tracking/Trailing reps with two of our Search and Rescue Teams we provide training for. We had Janet & K-9 Douglas and Amy & K-9 Flirt. Both teams kicked some serious tail and handled business!
Not their longest tracks by any means but focused on locating target source odor & having heavily contaminated starts blind. Also had controlled and uncontrolled dog distraction exposure on both tracks and both dogs did fantastic staying on task and finding their targets. Nice job teams!

Our guys Ofc. Holm and K-9 Ren from The Village of Baltimore Ohio Police Department got in some work with us this evening on a nice track. We even got to see the nice new frisbee golf course along the track. Way to work gentleman, keep grinding!

The Puppies have started joining us on our Police K-9 In Service Training days.
Toad 🟤, Trip 🔵 & Glitch ⚫️ are 3 of our pups from our Puppy Program that are being raised from the ground up as Police K-9 Prospects. These pups have already started training and have been absolutely crushing it. Strong, skilled, confident & social dogs in the making!
The plan is for these guys to be trained in Patrol/Apprehension work, Detection (Narcotics or Explosives) and Tracking/Trailing.
If you or your department are looking to add or replace a dog within your agency feel free to message us to discuss options we can provide you. Be proactive in the hunt for your next K-9 and have a say in what you want and need in a dog and allow us to help make those dreams a reality.

Say hello to Lola!
This gorgeous girls family are long time repeat clients of ours and are some really great folks. Lola was first introduced as a member of the TTK9 Pack during a Private In Home Program. However, she is back in action with a 2 week Board and Train Program with Trainer Emmie while her family is on Vacation in Europe.
She is such a cool little pup and is such a hard working girl. We truly enjoy having her around. Please join us in welcoming back Miss Lola!

Unlike some Dog Trainers, we at Triple Threat K9 are open to any and all breeds. We also work with and specialize in dogs with aggressive behaviors.
All of our client’s are added to a private/closed FB page that has training videos, training tips, and is an open forum for clients to talk with our Staff and each other. Clients are also encouraged to share videos of their training and updates on how they are progressing!
What is Private Training?
Private Training is conducted in home & in public. They are one on one training sessions and are conducted primarily off leash. This training style provides ample attention focused solely on you and your dog. Our private training allows for your pup to be trained in its natural environment and home setting. Our Staff comes to you and really customizes your training regiment to meet you needs. Additionally this allows our Staff to correct unwanted behaviors at the home which is huge for many of our client’s. This style of training provides superior results!!
Whats is Group Setting?
In a group setting you are in a class with up to 9 other dogs (No more than 10 dogs per class). All group setting training is conducted ON LEASH, unless otherwise directed by our Staff. The benefits of this training is its great for socialization of your pup and to learn the basics. You will be around other dogs where your dog will not only learn from training but learn from their peers. The downsides to group settings is there are more distractions than our private training, you also have less one on one time with our Staff unlike in our private lessons. Group Training is cheaper than private lessons and still can set your pup up for success, it just depends on what your needs are. That being said, not all dogs are a good fit for Group settings. ***Our Staff reserves the right to remove any dogs that are disruptive to the class.***
At Triple Threat K9 we focus on making training fun and exciting for you the owner/handler and of course the main client, your dog. We train you how to train your dog!! We strive to maximize and unleash you and your pups true potential. We focus on meeting your needs as a client and wont settle for anything less.
