Fun fact: Eric and his dad started this small-but-mighty dog food company with a simple mission: real meat, no junk. Just human-grade, single-ingredient animal protein—freeze dried or air dried—for treats or as a healthy kibble alternative.

You’ll spot these around the facility, at our events, and anywhere dogs are living their best lives. 🐾

Our front desk girl, Juno, turns 6 today.🎂  In six years, she’s lived in New York City, spent 18 months on the road in a trailer with dad, moved to Baltimore for a mom and kitty sister (Stevie), and stood proudly by while her parents got married.
Now, she’s a small business owner and the perks are pretty great. Treats. New friends daily. Time with mom and dad. A whole business built with her in mind.
Happy birthday to our girl. 💜Swipe for a few highlights from her very full life so far.

Fireworks might be festive for us, but for dogs? Not so much. Let’s keep our pups safe, calm, and close this 4th of July. Here’s how:

🐾Make sure they get a good walk and potty break before the noise begins
🫶🏻Set up a quiet, secure space where they can retreat — a crate, closet, or interior room with their favorite blanket and toys
🦴Try puzzle toys, frozen Kongs, or calming music to help distract them (but if they just want to curl up next to you, that’s okay too)
🧑‍⚕️Use calming tools like vet-approved treats, a ThunderShirt, or a pet-safe scent diffuser — and if your vet prescribed medication, give it at least an hour before the fireworks start
🔒Double check their collar ID and microchip info — just in case

Your calm presence helps too — they take their cues from you!

We had the sweetest surprise visitors at Molly’s today! 🥹 Dallas, a former pup, stopped by bc dad won a gift card and they wanted to say hi and check the place out. And get this: our owner, Eric, used to walk Dallas when he was living at the shelter!
Now Dallas is living his best life with his dad, Chirag, who originally fostered him and couldn’t let him go (the best kind of foster fail!). Seeing them walk through our doors was the most incredible full circle moment. We hope to see you soon, Dallas and thank you to the for helping create change in pup’s lives like this one.
