Meet Rumi! He’s a young pup from Kuwait, about 7-9 months old, being fostered in Towson, MD.

He loves everyone he meets, adults and kids, and does well with all kinds of animals. He walks well on a leash, and still plays in that uncoordinated way like a puppy. He loves being with his people, but also does well in a crate.

Our animals are terrified as there continues to be bombing all around Kuwait and near our shelter.

There’s no way of evacuating, and our colleagues and the 200 animals in their care need help now.

Update: Foster found!
These 2 beautiful souls are still looking for their homes . They are both young, less than 2 years old and the lucky ones who get to leave Kuwait and come to the US in about 2 weeks.

Milka and Monti were adopted together and together they will stay for the rest of their lives ! Here are photos with their parents and their amazing foster mom.

🚨As you all know, shelters in certain areas of Kuwait are being shut down and the animals destroyed. This includes the BFG shelter.

Many of you have asked how to help, and we thank you for patience as we organize.

Most immediately we need at least $1500 to evacuate our 200 dogs to safety.

Later we need adopters (preferably) or emergency fosters.

🚨 Attention all ! We would like to inform all our followers ,adopters, and friends: the government approved a law to target all animal shelters in KUWAIT.
Shelters will be shut down and animals destroyed. They are already started a campaign to search with drones for the locations.
One of our friends -Nataly street princess shelter with over 200 animals has already been evicted and threatening to destroy the animals.
Our shelter at the moment is under lock down, the dogs are in the rooms not allowed to go outside. We urgently need to evacuate our shelter outside of Kuwait.🚨
