How has this beautiful girl gotten no applications?!

Khali is a four year old large and impressive Saluki from Kuwait. She’s friendly to every person she meets and does well with her Saluki foster siblings. Great with kids, even in large and rowdy groups (think kids bday party). Her goal in life is to hang out on the cosiest couch with her family.

She does have a pretty decent prey drive and we wouldn’t recommend her with cats or smaller pets.

House trained and very polite.

This is our sweet and docile foster dog, a four year old rescued Saluki from Kuwait. She’s loved everyone she meets, and the most chill couch-potato.

She gets along beautifully with our Salukis, but not so well with dominant dogs (like our pit-mix).

She’s met dog savvy cats before and had done well. Of course with any dog/cat introduction, it should be done slowly and carefully.

Walks wonderfully on a leash, not reactive to other dogs on walks.

Meet our beautiful Saluki foster, Khali!
She was found starving in the Kuwaiti desert last year (see last photo).

She enjoys nothing more than lazing on the nearest sofa and cuddling. Very docile and friendly, good with kids!

Khali is about three years old, and although her rough beginning she is very healthy now.

She does well with other dogs but prefers a quieter place to rest. We see moments of her initiating play with our dogs, but it might take her time to learn to trust.

She is quiet, we havent heard her bark even once! And outgrown all those annoying puppy behaviors like chewing and accidents in the house.

🎉CONGRATULATIONS Gideon the Gold, on your Adoption Day. Gideon was left behind at a boarding facility by his first family in Kuwait. He was then rescued by Leila at BFG before he was thrown out into the desert by the boarders.
He made the flight all the way from Kuwait to the US, and now he is adored by his new family.
Sending all our love and best wishes to Gideon and his new family ✨🎉

Does anyone who adopted a large dog from BFG still have the crates? There are no crates in Kuwait and we have 3 large dogs leaving soon . Please HELP!

Meet our lovely girl, Ilka!! Currently in Kuwait but flying into Dulles on June 4th. Looking for potential fosters or adopters.

She is 10 months old, a Boxer from a reputable breeder, but whose family had to suddenly leave Kuwait and could not bring her with them. She’s known nothing but love her whole life, but we’d like to see her in a proper home.

The Kuwaiti summer temperatures can be particularly deadly for short-nosed breeds, so we’d like to find her a home here in the United States ASAP.

She is energetic, pure sweetness and love.
