Over 300 wild-caught Congo African Grey parrots have been seized in an illegal shipment in Turkey and are being repatriated to the DRC, but before they can be released they need to be housed, banded, fed, and cared for for 6-9 months to allow their feathers to grow back. The Lukuru Wildlife Foundation is the organization tasked with this rehabilitation and reintroduction, but they have never taken in this many birds at once before and need money to build new flights and upgrade their facilities. Please consider giving to help the wild Congo African Grey population.
