Beth made my day with this photo. Multi-dog households can be a challenge! Boo and Honey are both wonderful dogs but need support learning to live together in harmony. Stationing is part of their training plan and they’re making great progress!

Buddha came to visit us at today! This big love muffin came into as a stray, underweight with skin and coat issues. He is thriving with his foster people, . He gives the best hugs! So gentle and polite. Just think about having your own Buddha belly to rub for good luck in 2026!

During training sessions, sprinkle in enrichment breaks—sniffing, lick mats, puzzle toys, or a short game of tug. These moments help your pup process what they’ve learned, reduce frustration, and keep training fun and rewarding. 🦴

Boo and his sister, Honey. Such attentive learners! We had a lovely walk today, Boo’s brushing up on his leash skills so his Mom feels confident walking him on the many beautiful trails in their area. People sometimes think of Newfoundlands as lazy couch potatoes, but that can’t be further from the truth! They’re a strong and steady working breed and love to work alongside their person. They need regular exercise to keep fit and maintain the muscles that support their joints throughout their lives.
